Chapter 5

Jake POV

Ok so I am 17 years old where is my mate!! I am the soon to be alpha of the Red Dawn pack. I have looked in other packs territories, with permission of course, and have still found nothing. I am currently on my way to ask the alpha of the Silver Moon pack if they have any unmated females as well. My wolf Jackson keep yelling at me to "find her" and "keep him away from her". I don't even understand what he's trying to tell me. Who knew that finding a mate would be so difficult? I'm still in my wolf form by the time I reach the house in the middle of a clearing that should be the base of the Silver Moon pack. I'm about 15 minutes early but punctuality is important.

Angie POV

Why am I so giddy all of a sudden? "He's coming, he's coming!!!" My wolf Tessa starts to howl and scream inside my head. "Tessa calm down NOW! You are giving me a headache." I think to her. "Daddy I'm going to go for a run I will see you in about an hour."

"Can you try to be back in 30 minutes we have a soon to be alpha coming soon and I would like you to be here."

"Yea. Ok. See you in a little bit." As I take my cloths off and put them behind a tree I change into my wolf the take off running toward the waterfall. I run around a couple trees before entering the clearing of the waterfall. I chase a few butterflies and jump around trying to catch some birds. I go back to the stream that leads to the waterfall and drink for a bit before jumping in and splashing in the water. Yes I may be 17 but that does not mean I have to act like it! If there's one thing I can't stand it's being told what to do. My dad said that it's the alpha blood in my that makes me like that. Honestly I think that I'm just stubborn. But, hey, whatever helps him sleep at night.
