~Noah's POV~

I did it. I left my pack. My home. My Alpha. That shit head. I remembered the way to Vince's pack. I just hope he accepts me. Regardless of what happened. I slowed down from a run to a trot. I know, I'm not a horse. But I wasn't walking or running. Trot is in the middle of the two. I sensed wolves. Rouge wolves. But yet they smelt of a pack. Vince's pack no less. These must be his patrols. I couldn't sense one with the Lead aura, so he still needs one. They approached me after hiding in the bushes and trees for a couple minutes.
"What are you doing here, Pack?" One of them asked.
I shifted to my human form.
"I wish not to fight. I am looking for your Alpha, Vince." I said.
They both shifted.
"He is not in." A boy with sandy blonde hair said.
"When will he be in?" I asked.
"Unsure. A couple of hours, maybe." The sandy blonde haired one said.
"What are your names?" I asked.
"We do not share such information, Pack." The sandy blonde one said.
Why does he keep calling me 'Pack'?
"I'm Noah." I said.
"Oh ho. Lead Patrol Noah." The sandy blonde haired one said.
"I'm Darren. And this idiot is my twin Brother Tahoe." Darren said.
"You fucking idiot! Why did you share our name with this Pack?!" His brother shouted.
"Why do you keep calling me 'Pack'?" I asked.
"That's what we call any members that have a pack scent. And you do, Pack." Tahoe said.
"I like your name, Noah." Darren said.
"As I, you." I said.
"Shush it, both of you." Tahoe said.
I growled lowly. I ain't part of your pack, don't tell me what to do.
"You're in no jurisdiction to be growling at me, young buck." Tahoe said.
"I'm not a deer." I said.
"Figure of speech." Tahoe said.
"Whatever." I said.
"You're like a legend, Noah." Darren said.
"Am I? How do you mean?" I asked.
"Yeah. Everyone knows you. Vince told us about you. I hope Alpha Vince let's in you can train me. I'd love to know your fighting style. I knew about you long before Alpha Vince told us. You're legitimately my hero, dude." Darren said.
"Glad to hear it, Darren. I think we'll be great friends." I said.

"It was always one of my dreams to meet you. And I'd be so happy and thankful to be trained by you. To be friends with you." Darren said.
I smiled. This boy.
"How old are you both?" I asked.
"18. I'm 15 minutes older." Tahoe said.
I nodded. Darren's young, energetic. He'll be a good prodigy.
"Hope you don't mind collecting a few bruises. I'm a bit rough with my training regimen." I said.
"No problem there, Surfer Dude." Darren said.
"Surfer Dude?" Tahoe asked.
"I surfed for a couple years in my spare time." I said.
"Ah. Of course my baby brother would know that." Tahoe said.
I chuckled. Darren started chasing around a bunny.
"He's something, huh?" I asked.
"Oh you have no idea." Tahoe said.
"You don't talk much." I said.
"From what I hear, neither do you." Tahoe said.
"Noted." I said.
Tahoe smiled.
"I think we'll be friends as well." Tahoe said.
"I'd really like that." I said.
"Me too." Tahoe said.
We both watched Darren try to catch the bunny. He's not a good hunter.

"Then I can brag to everyone on how I'm friends with the famous Noah." Tahoe said.
"Ah I see. I'll be just a bragging tool for you." I said.
"No. I'm like you in way." Tahoe said.
"How do you mean?" I asked.
"Trust issues." Tahoe said.
"Is that why you looked like you wanted to murder me in several different ways?" I asked.
Tahoe chuckled.
"Yeah. I know I'm no match for you though. You could slaughter me in minutes. Seconds." Tahoe said.
"Only if I have a reason to." I said.
"That's another thing I like about you. You're passive aggressive. You fight only when provoked. Not for fun." Tahoe said.
I nodded.
"I wasn't raised that way. But I never found joy in killing for sport." I said.
"I agree with that. Our 'pack' if you will, feels the same." Tahoe said.
"Good deal." I said.
"Darren's right though. You have created quite a name for yourself." Tahoe said.
"It would appear so." I said.
"You for real surfed?" Tahoe asked.
"Straight up." I said.
Tahoe laughed.
"You're the best." Tahoe said.
"Around." I said.
He laughed again.
"You know something?" I asked.
"What's that?" Tahoe asked.
"Your name is the name of a car. The Chevy Tahoe. It's a big truck." I said.
"Ugh. Don't remind me." Tahoe said.
We chuckled.
"You two bonding?" I heard Vince's voice behind us.
I and Tahoe turned around.
"Alpha." Tahoe said.
Darren ran right up to us. Standing right next to me.
"Alpha!" Darren said.
Happy go lucky. See what I mean?
"Sup?" I asked.
Vince shook his head a chuckled.
"Cool as ever I see." Vince said.
"As mother fucking ice." I said.
"He's amazing. Can we keep him?" Darren asked.
"It's fine with me. You'll have to ask him." Vince said.
I nodded.
"Cool beans, bruh." I said.
"YAY!!!" Darren shouted, jumping up and down.
Tahoe, Vince and I laughed. Darren just cheekily smiled.
"This boy." I said.
"As I stated, you have no idea." Tahoe said.
"You'll learn him soon enough." Vince I said.
"Oh I believe it." I said.
I heard paws racing towards us. I tensed. I know the sounds of those paws. My old pack.
"That lying son of a..." I began.
"What?" Vince asked.
I started to shift to wolf form. I snarled. Vince, Tahoe and Darren all backed up. They knew I sensed something. They just didn't know what. As they were too far away to sense it yet.
"What is it?" Tahoe asked.
"I'll be back. It's my low life Alpha. His mate let me leave the pack whilst my back healed. That and he raped me." I said.
"WHAT?!" Tahoe and Darren shouted.
"You are not facing him alone." Vince said.
"He'll attempt to kill you three if he sees you with me." I said.
"Fine. Howl if you need us." Tahoe said.
I nodded.
"Will do." I said.
I shifted and bolted to where the paw sounds came from. And I was right.

Alpha Kai was standing there. Along with one of the patrols I had watch him. And about 10 warriors. The Lead Warrior must be back at the pack. Mistake number 1. The second mistake was betraying me. Again. They shifted but I remained in wolf form.
"Noah..." Alpha Kai said.
"What do you want, Traitor?" I asked.
"You back." Alpha Kai said.
"I don't think so." I said.
"I do. Our pack needs you. I need you." Alpha Kai said.
"Bullshit you do. If you did, you wouldn't have betrayed my trust. Beloved Alpha." I said.
He hung his head in shame.
"I admit, I hate myself dearly for hat. And I will spend my life making it up to you. I mean, hell, you mean more to me than my fucking mate." Alpha Kai said.
I don't even know why I still call him 'Alpha Kai' being, for time being, his isn't my Alpha.
"And I care... Why?" I asked.
He irks me some days. I swear to you.
"Noah... Please come home." Alpha Kai said.
Blitz came running up to them, taking a stand next to her mate.
"I agree. I know I said what I said. But you need to understand, no one watches Kai like you do." Blitz said.
"How do you mean?" I asked.
"They're more interested in their phones than protecting him, me, and our unborn pup." Blitz said.
I growled at the mention of her and their pup.
"I know you hate what's happened so far. With me meeting Blitz and our pup. But you have to understand, you're the only one that's good at your job, Noah." Alpha Kai said.
I sensed Vince, Tahoe and Darren behind me.
"If I understand correctly, Noah told you not to come after him." Vince said.
"Shut it, Rouge." Alpha Kai said.
"You're in my lands now." Vince said.
"So?" Alpha Kai asked.
"You're in no jurisdiction to be saying shit." Tahoe said.
That's what he said to me.
"Nah mate." I said.
"Huh?" Alpha Kai asked.
"I'm gonna stay with them until my back heals. And hopefully, in the process, the trauma you cause me will be healed too." I said.
Alpha Kai fell to his knees.
"Please don't. Stay. I need you." Alpha Kai said.
It's not often an Alpha Begs.

"Maybe you should listen to your Alpha." A new voice said.
Everyone turned to face the voice. Standing there was... No... How? He hasn't been seen in years. Standing before us was...

Alpha October.

-------------------------------------------------------

Sorry for not updating. My ex boyfriend passed away less than a week ago. And I found out just how bad he was cheating on me and lying to my face about it. I know I should've moved on but I only broke up with him less than 3 months ago. Enough about that sad stuff though.

I know I said the first book would have nothing to do with this one. But I felt the first book didn't involve October enough. Who misses October?

For those of you who don't know, October was Ke'Yon's mate.

If you guys don't want to see October in this book, let me know and this will be only chapter he's in.

See ya in the next chapter!
