Quote of the Chapter: "Anger is nothing more than an outward expression of hurt, fear, and frustration."
Gabi angrily stepped away from me.
What? Was she jealous of those girls.
I was scared to leave her alone in her mysteriously pissed state, so I mindlessly decided to follow her around tonight.
Big mistake.
After the drink station, we headed to the giant pool. "You better not get in that nasty pool. You don't even have a swim suit. I don't want wet clothes in my precious Lulu."
"I don't want wet clothes in my stupid car with a dumb ass name." Gabi mimicked me in a high pitched voice.
This girl as my protégé was going to be the death of me.
In a normal tone she said, "You don't have to be a baby about this pool thing. I am just going to put up to my legs in. You should too Sebastian."
"Eww." I cringed. "What if someone threw up in the water when they were drunk and couldn't help it?"
As we reached the pool area she replied, "Multiple people have. Shit, I have a million times. People are so drunk, they never gave a shit or remembered. They just move on with their own retarded lives. What's even worse is when- "
"That was a pretty rude comment Gab." The nickname exited my mouth again.
"Whatever, MOM." Gabi scoffed, looking ahead at a group of friends doing a cannonball into the pool.
"Gabi!" I needed her attention. "You should stop cussing so much. It doesn't make you any cooler. Every now and then is when it's ok to use profanity."
"Wow. I'm soooooo sorry Sebastian. Tell me this, when did you grow boobs, get longer hair, gel nails, slutty heels and face lift, because you are really starting to act like my mom and I fucking hate her."
What is wrong with her? She just got made out with and she is upset? Girls.
"You can't hate your mom!? You are still a child after all." I was offended.
"No. Correction. I am 18 now, which claims, by law, I am a legal adult." I stood looking at her, then staring into the night in awe.
"Well, what about your dad?"
"Oh yeah, that man-whore. I hate my dad even more."
That really stung. I know she wasn't mentioning my dad, but if I didn't have mine, I wouldn't be doing the job I love.
My parents were my everything!
My family loved and cared for all of my young aspirations and dreams that they knew wouldn't last a day. So the fact that she is complaining, and telling me she hates her parents.
Oh no.
I pulled her to the side of the O'Dell's house and explained, "Without your parents you wouldn't be the way you are today, Gabi. You need to start treating them with way more respect. Alright."
"Or, what? Gonna give me another 'You need to love your parents' speech. Dude, you have no idea the shit the put me through. I hate them and I am not afraid to say it. No pretty boy is changing that."
All my anger rushed out of me as I lunged and pushed Gabi's back harshly against the house. My gaze at her was full of rage.
When her back hit the house she looked bewildered, then she narrowed her eyes and took a peek at the sky annoyed. I better say something before she barks at me first.
"I'm sorry." I removed my hands from her sides. What a wimp I was.
She waited at the minimum 40 seconds to respond."Imbecile." She pushed me aside going into the house.
I still have no have no clue what just happened in the past 10 minutes.
