I'm kinda not feeling the writing mood as of now, guys. Sorry this took so long. I'm kinda grasping at straws right now. If you have any ideas please share them or you favorite episode. Thanks and I apologize in advance. The picture is kind of what Kori's outfit looks like. Ish.
Kori POV
A nice relaxing dragon ride. With other people. Yay.
"We need to destroy those ships!"
"Yes, Hiccup. You told us at the Edge," I shouted back. Everyone had heard his speech three times at HQ and five more times minimum on the way there. Needless to say, it got boring.
"Everything's going to turn out okay, Hiccup. No need to worry," Astrid said. They were so cute I was ready to throw down some matchmaker skills. Unfortunately, that could destroy relationships and I don't have those types of skills.
"You don't need to worry, Kori. I'll be right there with you."
"Hey Snotlout, you see that bubble around me that everyone else can see?"
"Uh, yeah?"
"Don't pop it." I went into a steep dive after my lacking burn. I more of an ice person so my roasts need to be thought out in advance. Dima's claws skimmed the water. "Keep the clichés to a minimum, girl." I got a lovely purr-growl in response.
After about five more minutes of silence filled with Hiccups worrying we saw the ships. I gained altitude then dropped towards the ships faster than a Pegasus but slower than a bullet. Dima swooped over the main deck, me rolling off and hitting the ground in a kneeling position, my swords already drawn.
"SUPERHERO LANDING!" Someone shouted with applause.
"Who are you?"
"Deadpool. And may I say, the reader has amazing eyes," he said with a wink pointed towards open space.
"Do you have to be here?" I attacked him. He disappeared and didn't reappear.
DEADPOOL GET BACK TO YOUR OWN MOVIE!
But I was having fun! Come on author, can't I stay a little longer?
NO!
Jeez. You're such a—
LANGUAGE!
Wow captain America. Didn't know you were here.
Okay. He's finally gone. Now, Kori was fighting Vikings. I'm sorry deadpool has infiltrated this story. Sincerely, the author.
"Who was that?" Ruffnut asked.
"I don't know, but I liked the red suit," Tuffnut completed.
A few Vikings charged at me. I flipped over the first and swept my leg behind me; knocking him down. After a roll to the side and upward slash then the second Viking soon fell. It would probably be easier for them to take me out if they didn't attack me one at a time. I continued to fight. I heard Dimas roar but could only assume she wasn't in trouble. Soon the ship was silent. I turned to see three of the five ships on fire. The other two were the one I was standing on and the one Dagger was on. And Dima. Apparently she was in trouble. I leaped into action. Luckily the two ships were close enough to jump from (if you had practiced and perfected the art of superhuman jumping—which I had).
I rolled once more after my jump and stood still in my kneeling position. I almost expected Deadpool to come back and shout "superhero landing!" He didn't. Dagger drew his swords. I stood up into proper fighting stance. He swung. I blocked. He swung again. I dodged. His entire fighting style was lacking finesse and he relied on his strength when fighting. It would be an easy take down. I stepped behind his guard that was barely there and kicked him in the stomach. He dropped his swords. Dima was caught in some sort of green chains. She blew ice on one section of the chains and I hacked away at that part until it shattered. I climbed aboard and looked back to take Dagger with me but he had disappeared. I flew back to the others.
"That was so cool!" Tuffnut said.
"You're gorgeous," Snotlout said with hearts in his eyes. Hiccup looked like he wanted to punch Snotlout.
"Who was the one in the red suit that disappeared? And what did he mean by 'readers eyes'?" Astrid asked.
"Deadpool. I've met him before. He claims we're BFFs but I despise him. He is very much insane and can break through the fourth wall." I viewed their blank stares. "Don't ask."
"Well I, for one, want to see him again," said Tuffnut. I was horrified. I tried to keep the flashbacks of our "adventures" from appearing but it was a little difficult. Deadpool is dangerous.
Hiccup POV
Astrid flew beside me as we flew back to the edge, us at the end of the procession.
"How are you holding up?" She asked.
"Well the guy on the red and black suit was a surprise. And Dagger did get away but-"
"You know what I'm talking about." She motioned towards Kori who was joking around with the twins, learning facts from Fishlegs, and dodging Snotlout's comments.
"She takes this so calm. It's weird seeing her but her reaction is even more strange. She isn't bothered by us and seems to just go with it. I thought she would be more concerned about me. Or she would hang out with me more. Or she would stop taking this so calmly! It's like she can't show real sadness!"
"Hiccup, it's okay. She's probably seen some super crazy stuff. She's probably used to it."
"But it's like she stumbles across brothers who thought she was dead all the time! How does she do it!" I shouted the last sentence so loud Kori looked back at me with a mixture of confusion and concern. I didn't like it.
"I think you're being a little sensitive."
"I don't think she's being sensitive enough."
The rest of the ride was silence. Once home Kori spent the rest of the day in her room. I stalked around the base, keeping an eye on everyone and everything. Toothless picked up on my agitation. We ended up having a sunset flight before bed.
More deadpool less deadpool? Thoughts? Ideas? I NEED HELP!
