"Are you dead?" Rocky poked me softly and chuckled to himself. I shot up and immediately cowered back into the soft sheets.

"Yes." I mumbled.

"You had a fun night last night?"

"I think." I mumbled again.

"Well it's 11 am and the kids are asking about you. And tonight is the rehearsal dinner at Ryland and Karlee's house so we need to go and get things ready over there." He explained to me as he rubbed my back.

I nodded tiredly and sat up, "I hate being hungover..."

"You guys went a little wild, huh?" He laughed and tossed me one of his shirts to change into.

"I think so..." I rubbed my eyes, "I should call Karlee."

He handed me my phone and we walked down stairs, "Hey Karlee, everything okay?"

"Yeah..." She mumbled and giggled loudly, "Ryland stop I'm on the phone."

"Geez, what is going on over there."

"He's trying to get me to put out, but I told him no under our wedding night and I am failing at holding up my strength..." She trailed off.

I rolled my eyes, "Okay, ew, well, don't cave, an I'll be at your house in like an hour."

"Are the girls staying the night at our house tonight?" She asked.

"Yes!" I told her, "They boys are spending the night at our place." I nodded.

"Great, sounds fantastic." She sounded happy, "See you soon."

"Bye," I told her and hung up as I walked into the living room.

"Morning guys..." I said and Rocky handed me two Advil and a glass of water, "Thank you baby..."

My kids each hugged me and finally Mason came back over and sat on my lap, "Mommy hold me," He said.

"What's wrong buddy?" I asked him.

"I just wanna hold on to you." He explained and put his head on my shoulder.

"Did you sleep okay last night?" I asked him as I rubbed his back.

"No," He said, "I had a scary dream."

"Oh no... I'm sorry, and you didn't come get us this morning?" I questioned.

"I got Daddy." He pointed at Rocky.

"At 5:30 this morning..." Rocky responded quickly, "It's been a rough morning." He said.

At this point we could only hope Mason has a good day tomorrow. He bad days consisted of clingy behavior towards Mommy or Daddy or a complete 180 of no body touch me at all, and today he seemed clingy.

I ate some bland breakfast before trying to go up stairs and take a shower. Mason cried when I closed the door and cried when Rocky tried to comfort him and cried until I got out of the shower and held him momentarily until I had to put clothes on.

I got Ellie dressed with on arm and Mason on the other. Carter and Avelyn helped Rocky load the car of any last minute wedding things or rehearsal dinner items we needed and we got into the car.

The drive into Beverly Hills to visit Ryland and Karlee was a lavish one. Rocky made a good amount of money. Enough to allow us to live in a nice house with no financial struggle and raise four kids with anything they could want and need, but Ryland was loaded. Ryland had so much money he didn't know what to do with it. And so when he got Karlee, he finally had someone to spend money on.
