Abby's pov

Opposites attract.  This is the single line going through my head as Axel dragged me to his car, both of us giggling as we ran hand in hand.

He was a year older than me but we had always been in the same grade. To be honest, I had always had a crush on him, but I don't think he would fall for average Abby. I wish I could be more interesting.

Careful what you wish for Abby, I thought. You never know what might happen.

Turns out that Axel was taking me to an art studio, who wanted to hire me for my artwork. Apparently he had sent them countless drawings of mine in order to prove that I was an okay artist. Of course he said I was more than okay, but he was my bestie. He basically HAD to say that.

Anyway, the guy who owned the place was named Hunter, or something like that. He wasn't too much older than me, maybe a couple months older than Axel.

"So you're eighteen?" I questioned, becoming skeptical of the fact that he owned the studio.

"That's right," he said with a sly grin, showing that his canines were a bit longer than usual.

That's odd, I thought, maybe a birth defect. Obviously I didn't mention it aloud. I did want to work here. I found it peaceful, even though they were blasting heavy mental from the work room. This is my kind of place.

Next thing I know, I've been hired by Hunter's company, and am starting next week. Basically all I am going to do is sketch. I couldn't believe I was going to be payed for doing my favorite thing ever.

I looked over at Axel, who was grinning wildly. "So what's the plan for the rest of the day, Mr. British Accent?" I asked cheekily.

"Well Ms. Welsh Accent, we are going to take you sketching at your favorite place," he said, still grinning.

I was speechless. I didn't even know that he knew where I went to sketch. After a while I started to grin uncontrollably. We were going to the what the inhabitants called the "Wild Woods," the most dangerous part of Wales.
