~Ariana's POV~
I looked above and a small drizzle started to fall from the sky. She cursed under her breath, looking around for a cab frantically.
"You can hop in here and I can keep you warm." I winked and she groaned, throwing her hands up in frustration.
"You're still here?" She asked annoyed.
"Always."
"Come on! Where's that girl? Is that her?" A voice shouted from far away and the gorgeous woman in front of me started panicking. I tensed, feeling the need to protect her. I didn't like her looking tense. I wanted that energy filled, bright spirit back.
She looked down at me and I gave her another heart-stopping smile that always worked with the ladies I had encountered in the past. I could see her resolve slowly fading.
"Open the door." She groaned, walking around the front of the car and I smirked, feeling extremely happy at her tempting order. Unlocking the door, I pushed it open and she stepped in, slamming the door behind her and crossing her arms over her chest. She grabbed the Kit Kat and began munching on it before turning around to look at me.
She was killing my heart with that gaze..
"What are you looking at? Drive." She commanded and I grinned, stepping on the pedal and speeding across the road.
"What's your name, Kit Kat?" I asked as she bit her lip, taking another bite of the Kit Kat.
"None of your business." She smiled back with a sarcastic sweet smile and I grinned, liking her already.
"You are wearing a wedding dress?" I asked, hearing her groan which made me smile wider.
"I ran away from my wedding." She answered with ease and for a tiny second, something flashed behind her eyes and it was gone just as soon as it came. I noticed that she didn't like the topic by the way she pursed her lips. So, I decided to change the topic.
"Where do you wanna go?"
"My friend's house. It's in Winston."
The car screeched to a halt on the road and I had turned to face her. She had finished the Kit Kat, and she threw the wrapper outside, flinging it away carelessly.
Littering.
"Do you by any chance have any Kit Kats?"
"It's a two hour drive there." I said looking at her weirdly, feeling amused.
"Duh." She said rolling her eyes, her hands fiddling with things in the car, searching for Kit Kats. "No Kit Kats?"
"Nope." I replied. She pouted and stopped with the fiddling. "I can't drive you there."
"Okay, I'll just go catch another cab then." She said, her hand pushing the door open.
"Wait!"
She turned around, her smile showing a glint of victory. She was extremely cunning. "What?"
I composed myself. "I will drop you off, but," I paused, dramatically placing my pointer finger in the air. "Tomorrow."
She narrowed her eyes at me. "Where am I supposed to stay until then?"
"It pains my to say this but," I smirked charmingly. "You are welcome to stay in my house."
"Douche." She rolled her eyes and I pouted playfully. "What makes you think that I'll stay in your house? For all I know you could be a rapist or a serial killer."
"Do you know who I am?" I asked.
"Why? Have you forgotten?" She asked, and I realized that she had no idea who I was. Should I tell her that I am the Ariana Grande, owner of the Grande industries, the youngest billionaire, the most talented woman (especially when it comes to bed). Maybe I shouldn't tell her the bed part.
"I'm Ariana." I said and her eyes opened up wide with shock before she composed herself. So..she knows me?
"Oh." She said, her tone sounding surprised. "You could come in handy."
"Why?" I asked, cocking my head to the side as I began driving the car.
"Well, do you know who Ariana Grande is?" She asked, cocking her eyebrows.
Yeah..she is sitting right beside you.
"Yes."
"Well," she paused. "I escaped a wedding right?"
"Yeah..." I could feel like something big was approaching.
"I told them I got married to Ariana Grande secretly and escaped."
Wait...she likes women?!!
Blink.
Blink.
Wide smile.
My heart is beating so fast right now..she likes women too. Fuck..this is great news.
"Really?" I asked. I tried to control the grin that was threatening to form on my face. I could feel my heart jumping with joy and I kept biting my lip to prevent myself from squealing out in happiness.
"Really." She said. "You both have the same name. You could be useful."
Oh, this woman.
"Do you think Ariana is hot?" I asked, almost biting my fist to prevent the urge of smiling.
"I've never seen her. My cousins talk about her all the time though. You should've seen their faces when I announced that I was married to Ariana Grande. Gold." She shook her head, smiling at the memory.
I bit my right fist hard, gripping the steering wheel hard with my left hand and turned away to the window. I wonder what she would do when she finds out that I'm Ariana Grande?
"Can we buy some Kit Kats before we go to your house?" She asked and I quickly composed of myself, grinning.
"Of course, Kit Kat." I cheered, swiftly turning the wheel.
"Why are you smiling?" She asked, slightly giggling. "It's creepy."
"How can I not smile when an extremely hot girl is sitting right next to me?" I asked, shooting her a wink and she rolled her eyes, looking away as her cheeks flushed bright red.
