~Y/N's POV~

"...and then I woke up. I was on the bed and she was lying on the hammock." I said to Shira. I smiled at how much of a lady Ariana was. How she was not forcing me into a relationship. She was giving me time. She didn't lie on the bed with me like I thought she would, even if she did, I wouldn't have minded.

"What?!" Shira screeched. "No sex??" She screeched again and everyone at a table near us turned to stare at us. My eyes widened as I tried to calm Shira down. "I was only waiting for the sex part." She sighed and I chuckled.

"Sex?" I asked. "Are you being serious right now?"

"Yes I am." Shira said while taking a sip of her coffee. "In your case..you know..when a girl slides her tongue into-" I stood up from the table, laughing loudly to drown out the naughty things she was about to say.

"If I was gay and I had a girl like Ariana, I would let her be my little love muffin at let her fuck me into oblivion." I choked on my coffee and opened my mouth to protest but she continued. "Don't even think about denying. I'm sure there are hundreds of girls both straight and gay that would let her do the same thing. Hell, I bet she deserves the name daddyana." She pointed her finger accusingly at me and I shook my head, rolling my eyes.

"For your information." I paused. "You already have a guy chasing after you like that."

Shira's body visibly tensed and I narrowed my eyes at her.

"Don't talk about that needle dick. He cheated on me." Her eyebrows furrowed in annoyance but I could see the hurt in her eyes.

I knew it was wrong of me to ask about her relationship with him and to side with Scott. It was none of my business but something about Scott tells me that he didn't cheat and that it was all a big misunderstanding. The way he seemed so heartbroken whenever Shira rejected him was always a clue. I had a feeling that Shira never really cared to listen to his side of the story. She was always strong headed.

Also knowing Ariana, I know that she would not involve or be friends with anyone that cheated on someone. I strongly believe that it is a total misunderstanding.

"Don't you think he deserves a second chance? I mean if he cheated on you, then why is he still chasing after you?"

"Exactly!" Shira said. "Why is that frozen cumguzzliing fucktard chasing after me?"

"Because he still loves you." I answered and Shira breathed hard, her anger dissipating quickly as she pinched the bridge of her nose. I learned that she does that whenever she's thinking really hard or stressed out.

"Sometimes second chances work out even better than the first because you learn from your mistakes. I said softly and she sighed, shaking her head. Her eyes looked sad and full with hurt. Shira was such a happy and bubbly person and seeing her like this made my heart ache. I felt honored that she wanted to talk about it and that she didn't avoid the topic like usual. "Do you still think about him?"

"Every second." She said softly and my heart stings and tugs at the pain in her eyes.

"I can't even look at him." Shira breathed out frustratingly. "I hate him so much."

"No you don't." I whispered softly. I could see in her eyes that she still had feelings for him. Shira was a very stubborn person so she needed someone to tell her that she indeed had feelings for him. "You don't."

"You're right." Shira said softly. I patted her back, wanting to change the mood desperately. I hated seeing her vulnerable.

"Where are we going now?" I asked and Shira's eyes brightened up immensely at my curious question. She pointed at a store as we walked around the mall.

"There." She said. "We are gonna buy costumes."

"For what?"

"A Halloween party." She rolled her eyes again and I realized that I had completely forgotten about Halloween. Well, it's not my fault. I've never celebrated it before. I've never been to a Halloween party. I've never worn a costume.

"It's my first time." I smiled excitedly and Shira looked at me, raising her eyebrows as she tossed the empty Starbucks cup into the trash bin.

"First time for what? Having sex?" Shira asked and I shook my head at her, chuckling slightly.

"Celebrating Halloween."

She stopped in her tracks and looked at me in pure shock before calming herself down, her eyes shining with determination. She held my shoulders and leaned forward. "We are rocking this years Halloween party, do you hear me?" She asked and I smiled back at her, feeling excited and happy. A small hole in my heart labeled 'friendless' was filling up and I couldn't help but thank God that I met Shira.

"Now come on!" She looped her arm into mine, her short black and green hair dancing as we ran towards the store.

We entered the store and looked around for costumes, which were separated into different sections. Paranormal section, scary bride section, supernatural creature section, Harry Potter section and many more. I looked towards the Harry Potter one, which had a dementor costume handing on the sign. It was quite scary actually.

"Oh my god!" Shira squealed from beside me. "Look at this strawberry costume! I'm buying it." She jumped up and won, clutching onto the strawberry costume like a mad woman and I laughed at her selection.

Only Shira would wear a strawberry costume. Just when I was about to turn back to the Harry Potter section, my yes laid on a costume and my eyes widened with wonder. It was perfect and I don't know why but I felt compelled to buy it. It was just too perfect.

After a few minutes of squealing and buying the costumes, both of us were out of the store in no time.

"Well that was fast." Shira said and I nodded.

"Too fast indeed." I agreed.

Shira shrugged before looping her arm in mine as her eyes shone with mischief. "Now we have time for a makeover." She said and dragged me across the building to a spa.

"Look who it is?" A voice squealed from behind us and Shira and I turned around immediately recognizing it.

Selena.

"It's dumb and dumber." Selena said, crossing her arms across her chest and walking ahead of us, her posse of friends following her. She seemed like a high school bitchy queen bee to me.

"Congratulations on proving yet once again just how much better we are than you with that last failed attempt at insulting us. It must suck being so bitter." Shira said, mocking sympathy and Selena looked pissed off.

"Shut up and get lost." She sneered angrily, her hands resting on her hips, her brunette hair falling in her face but she quickly brushed it away.

"I'm sorry dear, but in order for you to insult us, we must value your opinion. Nice try though." With that, I dragged an amused Shira out of the place and walked ahead of the shocked group.
