~Y/N's POV~
Ever since I revealed the facts of my life to Ariana, my insecurities were devouring me. I was always by her side and I always looked at her just to make sure she still looks at me the same way. I have been telling her more bits and pieces that I missed out on the story. I told her about Mrs. Rosetta Sinclair's proposal. She was proud of me and suggested that I should join. It made me smile that Ariana now looked at me as a strong woman and not a woman with a bad background.
I didn't tell her about the fight in the bathroom. I don't even want to waste my breath talking about her. I was so blinded by my anger towards her that the more I think about what happened, I realised a major mystery. Why does she hate me in the first place? Because of Ariana? Can't be. I remember her asking Scott out at the mall. Why does she even act this way? There must be something troubling her. I wonder what trouble she would have.
"One more cupcake?"
"Nope." I declined politely and Ariana put the cupcake down. I felt the nauseous feeling rise up at the back of my throat and I tried to gulp it down. I just ate something called 'Balut'. Apparently, Balut is an Asian delicacy consisting of a fertilized duck egg that is boiled and eaten in the shell. The idea of this dish absolutely horrifying because the tiny duck fetus has already developed soft bones and other features.
I didn't try anything after that.
I don't even want to try the innocent looking cupcake.
Who knows what it's made up of?
There could be tiny fish eggs and cat poop in there for all I know.
I looked over at Ariana who was laughing away at the joke Mr. Desmont made. He was a huge old man with a beard. He looked like the cool uncle that would come and visit you during thanksgivings and eat most of the food there. I looked at my hands to see one of them being held tightly by my dear Ariana and the other one just resting on my lap.
How long does this event last?
I looked up at the huge golden clock hung on the wall.
Looks like it's fuck this shit o'clock.
"Baby, do you wanna go home?"
I whipped my head around fast to look at her with huge relief. My excitement to go home was clearly displayed on my face brightly because she chuckled at my enthusiasm.
"You could have told me you know." Ariana kissed my forehead and I felt all my stress melting away like a butterscotch ice cream in summer. "I love you." She reminded me once again and I felt happy as my heart skipped a beat.
"Let's go." She whispered and stood up slowly, holding my hand and excused herself from the group of old luxurious men and women. Both of us walked, muttering a number of 'excuse me's and finally reached the door which led to the outside world. The door that led to freedom from this judgmental freaks. The door that would lead to home. The door was opened, our feet were in the limousine and my butt was on the soft cushion seat.
Finally.
What a night.
I felt a soft nose tickle the side of my neck and a hot breath whisper in my ear as the limousine started moving. A delicate hand circled my hip and pulled me closer to a warm and toned body. "Finally, I got you alone." The way she said it sent my body into a shock wave. A pleasurable one of course. One that I craved.
I turned around to look at her, our foreheads were touching and her hand was now gliding up my thigh. Her hand reached my hair and the updo was gone. Her fingers ran through the knots of my hair softly.
She ran her fingers through the complicated knots of my soul.
"You were glowing today." She whispered and I raised my eyebrow in question, as my heart warmed up.
"I can't glow." I said, pursing my lips to prevent them from smiling too much.
"Every girl has a glow. But once I saw yours, everyone else's faded away while you shined brighter than Paris at night. I just want to bask in your light." She kissed my nose.
My dear tummy, sorry for all the butterflies lately. I swear it's not my fault. It's her's.
My hands circled around her neck and pulled her closer. My lips touched her's and soon the world around us was forgotten. Her hands held me close and safely. The softness of the kiss we shared soothed all the scars in my heart. I wanted to drown in the feeling. It was addictive. She pulled away and her eyes were bright with happiness. A smirk found its way on her lips and she said, "I swear that when our lips touch, I can taste the next 60 years of my life."
My heart sped up and my cheeks felt warm.
She was filling the grooves and empty spaces of my scarred heart with lustre gold and silver dust.
"Ariana..." I dragged, once again speechless by her sentence. The limousine came to a halt and I realised that we had reached home. A mischievous glint filled her chocolate eyes and a scandalous smirk stretched her lips.
My heart was hammering against my ribcage at the thought of what's going to happen next. She pulled away and both of us got down the limousine. As I stood in front of the house, I thought of the memories of the ball night with Ariana and I smiled.
Yes, I smiled.
I could hear the rumbling of the limousine behind me as it sped away and disappeared into the darkness of the mysterious night. Ariana held my hand and led the way into the house.
"Will you ever let go of my hand? it's beginning to get sweaty." I said jokingly as we entered the house.
"A lot of your body parts are going to get sweaty tonight so why not?"
"What?" I pretended that I didn't hear that although I was dying inside.
"Nothing." She winked and my insides turned into goo. My heels were off my feet and the chill of the cold marble floor was almost orgasmic. I felt relief and let go of Ariana's hand who was now leaning against the wall, staring at me.
"I'm going to drink water." I said and she nodded still burning me with her lustful gaze. I headed for the kitchen and poured some water for myself as a million thoughts ran through my mind. The only thing I could hear was my heartbeat and the footsteps of someone coming closer.
"I need water too." She kissed my shoulder and I felt my body tense. I grabbed the cup to pour her water too when she stopped me.
"I need fresh water." Her voice was low dark and mysterious. I realised what water she wanted as a hand circled my stomach. In a second, I felt all my thoughts disappear as one clear thing popped up in my mind.
Her.
As quick as lightning, I turned around and her hands were helping me up the counter. Our tongues tangled in a lovely dance and her hands roamed everywhere. My hands were all over her chest as I unbuttoned her blouse.
"Tell me if I need to stop." She breathed out, kissing down my cheek and I shook my head.
"Don't stop till I'm begging."
