~Y/N's POV~
Shira had offered me an ice cream after I had comforted her. I had asked for one more, for Ariana.
Walking inside the house, I looked around, hoping to see her and she was there. She was standing in front of a glass shelf, looking at a photo.
"Hey." I said.
She turned around at the sound of my voice. Her chocolate brown eyes brightened up immediately, and once again, I felt myself drooling at the sight of her. She was completely and utterly gorgeous.
"Hey Kitkat." She replied, eyeing the ice cream. I smiled at the nickname and shrugged it off.
"I got you one too." I said, handing the ice cream over to her. I bought vanilla.
"Vanilla is my favorite you know." She answered back, smiling softly.
I frowned slightly. "You look sad." I said and her eyebrows raised, pursing her lips. She turned around, pointing at a photo of her holding a volleyball and a group of girls were huddled together. There was a man, with a whistle around his neck, looking more than forty years old, standing together with the girls.
"Just received news that my coach died today." She said and I gasped, placing my hand on her shoulder in a comforting gesture.
"I have to go to the funeral. I'm sorry." She said. I understood what that meant. No Winston for me today.
"No. Don't say sorry for that." I said and she smiled, pursing her lips. "It's okay. When are you leaving?"
She narrowed her eyes at me. Tingles shot up my body at her gaze and she leaned forward, making my breath hitch. "Come with me."
"What?" I asked, feeling the ice-cream melt and touch my hand. "What am I going to do there?"
"You can just stay beside me. Pretend to be my girlfriend." She winked and I groaned, trying to hide the blush on my cheeks. She noticed it and smirked.
"In your dreams Ms. Ariana."
"Ooh." He said. "Kinky. What's your favourite sex position?"
My eyes widened a fraction before I composed myself. "It's called 'the moon'. You get 273,000 miles away from me."
Her smirk widened, taking joy in the fact that I just rejected her. She breathed out a sigh, looking very amused. "Where have you been all my life?"
"Urgh." I rolled my eyes, ignoring the butterflies in my tummy as I walked away from her.
"You know you want me. I can see it in your eyes Kitkat." She shouted behind me.
"No. I don't want you." I sang, replying playfully.
"We have chemistry you know."
"Chemistry?" I asked, stopping on my way to the bedroom, as I turned around to look at her.
"Yes. Chemistry." She said. "My atoms love your atoms. It's chemistry."
I laughed but I couldn't get rid of the word she used.
Love.
Brushing my thoughts away, I calmed my speeding heart and ran into the bedroom.
After an hour of getting ready, I checked myself in front of the mirror, making sure that I looked a little good. Ariana had asked me to pick a dress from the closet and I picked a black dress. A simple one, with lace patterns near the collar. I tied my brown hair up to a messy bun. It was supposed to be neat, but whatever.
Fortunately for me, there was a make-up set, so I used them and applied dark red lipstick on my lips. Feeling satisfied, I walked out of the room and Ariana was leaning against the wall, waiting for me.
She looked up, her eyes landing on me and they slowly ran down my body. My neck, my chest, my hips, my thighs, my knees, my ankles before coming back up slowly again. My body felt hot at her burning gaze. Her chocolate brown eyes had darkened immensely and desire glinted in them. I shivered involuntarily as she closed the distance between us.
"You are so beautiful, it hurts." She said, her voice low and husky, leaning down further and her eyes went down to my lips. I licked them, feeling scared at how my body was reacting to her. She took that as a cue to lean in further. My breath hitched and the atmosphere burned. It was too hot.
"The funeral." I said weakly and she backed away. Her eyes were still dark and she looked like she was resisting herself.
"You won't resist me next time." She smirked before backing away completely and I released out a sigh. She held my wrist, holding me beside her as both of us walked out of the house. Tingles shot up my body from the place she touched.
We were soon in front of her sleek black car and she opened the car door for me as I slipped inside. We were soon on our way to the church. It was a short drive, with comfortable silence. Soon, we were getting out the car, walking through the crowd. Stares were thrown our way and I fidgeted, getting a little nervous when I felt a hand circled my stomach, pulling me close to toned and curvy body. Somehow, it seemed to calm me down.
My eyes widened when suddenly a girl, slim and tall, stopped in front of us. She was pretty. Her dark brown hair was wavy reaching her chest. Her face was caked up with make-up.
"Ariana!" The girl squeaked. "It's been so long!"
I almost covered my ears at her annoying voice. She tugged on Ariana's hand and for some reason, it annoyed me.
"Hey." Ariana smiled back, politely.
"Come on. You have to meet the others." She shrieked again and pulled on Ariana's arm.
"This is..." She paused, and I mouthed "Y/N." Ariana introduced me, completely ignoring her request. "Y/N, this is Selena. Selena Gomez."
Her eyes turned to me. They held disgust but there was a sickly sweet smile on her face. "Hi Y/N."
Bitch alert.
