~Y/N's POV~

It has been two hours since the small cruise has started to move in the water. The feeling of water surrounding me was making me feel uneasy but Ariana was there to distract me. She brought me inside, where there was a living room, a kitchen, three bedrooms and other smaller rooms. There were rich stuff everywhere.

Seeing all this made me wonder. Is she rich? Who is she? What does she do for a living? Those are the thoughts that invaded my mind. She was currently sitting beside me, of course never letting go of my hand as she showed me a recipe book. She was talking about spaghetti. Her other hand moving animatedly in the air as she spoke. Her chocolate brown eyes filled with wonder and delight.

"Do you like pasta?" She asked, turning the page over.

"Yeah." I muttered.

"Do you know how to make it?"

"A little."

"I know how to make it. I'm an expert at it. My mom taught me when I was young. I also come from an Italian background." She said and I smiled. She continued talking about her past memory and all I could feel was impressed by her.

She is hot. She is cute. She can cook too.

What a perfect woman.

I pursed my lips, realising that I am developing feelings for her. She will hurt you in the end, Y/N. Stop whatever you are feeling.

I want you to make me go crazy over you... I want the challenge.

Her words echoed around my thoughts and I smiled, blushing quietly.

"...and I won. It was so delicious they couldn't resist. Do you want to try my pasta?" Ariana asked eagerly. For a moment, she reminded me of a little kid and I couldn't help but smile wider.

"Yes." I nodded and she immediately stood up, grabbing my hand as both of us stood in the kitchen. She placed the recipe book in front of us.

Something vibrated in my thigh and I realised that it was my phone. Glancing at Ariana, she let go of my hand for me to attend the call. Suddenly, I wanted to hold her hand and just stay there and ignore whoever was calling. But, that would be irresponsible so I took the phone out of my pocket.

It was Shira.

With a smile, I attended the call and walked out from the inside of the cruise. Cold air met my skin and I realised it was already night. The sky was dark and the moon was shining brightly. I turned to look at Ariana through the window. She was cooking pasta. A smile stretched my lips at the sight of her focused face and somehow it turned me on a little.

"Hey Sexy!" Shira shouted in my phone and I giggled at the term she used.

"Hey Shira." I answered calmly.

"So what are you doing? Ogling at Ariana?" Shira asked and my eyes widened.

How the hell does she know?

She was greeted with silence. "So you are ogling at Ariana."

"No." I replied meekly.

"Where are you?" She demanded, her voice rising.

"In the middle of the sea." I answered. The park was situated near a lake which connected to the sea and I assume that right now, we were in the middle of the sea due to the absence of buildings and bright lights.

"So WHEN are you going to come to the bakery?" Shira asked. It took a few seconds until it sank in. I had completely forgotten about going to Shira's bakery at nine tonight. I looked at the time and it was past nine. "You have been GONE for like a lifetime! I can't remember your FACE anymore! I don't EVEN REMEMBER what you look like!"

"I'm sorry Shira." I tried weakly.

"The old lady next to my bakery saw me and asked why I was still in the shop. I told her the reason and do you know what she said? She said 'That's cute!'."

"I don't get i—"

"Shira is NOT CUTE! Shira is the EVIL INCARNATION OF FEAR!" She shouted and I couldn't help but control my laughter. "I SMACKED her cat right in front of her!"

"Oh My God! Shira!" I exclaimed and this time I couldn't control my laughter. "I promise to make it up to you tomorrow! We will go out! Okay?"

"Fuck you whore!" Shira cursed and I laughed again.

"I said I will make it up to you!" I said and she let out a loud sigh.

"Say three words and I will say Yes." She said and I thought.

"I'll buy food."

"You know me so well." Shira said and I laughed. "Ok. You got me. Goodnight. Take care. Go enjoy Ariana's special meal!"

Beep.

The call was cut and I only realised what she said after she hung up. My cheeks blushed red with embarrassment, and I couldn't help but chuckle lightly at how she worded it.

Suddenly something bright caught my eyes and I looked, narrowing my eyes at the spot of a tiny light emanating from an island far away. It was a lighthouse but what made my eyes widen was the huge house beside it. The lights were lit and the interiors could be seen clearly through the transparent glass. It was beautiful and mesmerising.

"Pasta is served." Ariana popped her head out and walked over to me with a small plate of pasta. She sat on top of a table with her own plate. The problem was that the table was small and only half of me could occupy the rest of the space. She seemed to realise my dilemma before a naughty grin stretched on her lips. Hands circled my waist and pulled me until I was sitting on top of her lap. A furious blush invaded my cheeks and she held me tightly, not planning on letting me go.

"Let me g-go." I said and she chuckled, her warm breath falling on the cold skin of my shoulder. It was a chilly night and she was comfortably warm, making me want to snuggle into her chest. Cold air brushed through my hair and I shivered.

"I'll keep you warm." She whispered in my ear and I bit my lip, trying to get down, when she pulled me even more tightly. A slight chuckle left her lips. Suddenly she moved, making me sit on the table completely as she stood in front of me, giving me a wink. I felt relief and frustrated at the same time. Relief for her letting go of me and frustrated because she let me go and didn't hold me tightly.

What is wrong with me?
