Abused and loved

chapter 4

as we pulled up to the drive way of out house. i saw johnnie sitting there on the steps waiting for me to get home. i had no choice but to go inside because i needed to get some more of my money and few clothings for me and jake and some of jakes toys. i had an idea, but niether jake or johnnie knew what i was about to do. i left jake in the car and locked all the doors so that johnnie wouldnt be able to get in and hurt him again. i ran past johnnie and i went up and grabbed all the things i would have needed for until i got up to my parents house. i grabbed a few toys for jaketo play with along the way, some money for food and gas and snacks,and some clothes. as i walked back outside i saw that johnnie had some beers out right next to him.once i walked out and he saw me he stoped me and asked where i was going. i didnt answer. he started to yell louder and louder each time i wouldnt answer him. the last time he asked and i didnt answer he pushed me down the stairs and threw the bags that iw as holding in my hands before i fell. " answer me you fucking whore. where in the fuck do you think you are going with those bags." he yelled as tears ran down the sideof my cheeks. i looked down to my stomach and wishpered itll all be over soon baby girl dont worry. i looked back up so that i was facing johnnie and i answered" no where,"because i knew that if i told him thati was going to my parents he wouldhave got to them before i did and he would have killed them.

i got up when i saw johnnie turn around to grab another beer. once he grabed it i got up andgrabed my bags and pushed him and kicked him and ran to the car.i got in just in time before he got there. i threw everything i brought in the back were jake was. but i looked back to see that jake was not there. i was half way to the front of the subdivision when i noticed that jake was not in the car. i slammed on the breaks and drove back to the house at full speed . i got to the house when i show the front door was open. i saw jake limb up the stairs and johnnie following up. i got out of the car and ran to get jake. i saw johnnie turn around to look at me. i heard jake scream from upstairs. i pushed johnnie as much as i could. he stummbled a little bit, not much but i pushed him enough for me to get up stairs to jake. "jake honey where are you." i yelled looking for jake every where. he didnt say anything at first. but a few minutes lateri walked into his room and i checked under his bed.he was laying there quite. i heard foot steps coming from the hall way. i looked over to the windowthat was in the corner of the wall. i went over to the window to see how far it was from the gorund." oh thats not that far down we can make it." i started to say in my head.

the footsteps started getting closer and closer. and i tried to push the bed against the door as much as i could. johnnie came up and tried to push the door open. i grabbed jake and put him through the window so he could run to the car. I followed behind him. Jake ran into the car ad put his seatbelt on. I got in the car and started to put my self belt on. As I looked up to notice johnnie at the front door. I backed out of the drive way as fast as I could only to see johnnie get in his car. I drove around the neighborhood to try and lose him but it didn't seem to work. I left and got onto the highway. I lost johnnie and desided to get off and take the back ways to get back on just to make sure I lost him. a few hours then pasted and we decided to head off to my moms house. just until i was able to get my own house. but since i dont have a job and no money and nobody to watch jake while i would go to work. i just decided going to my moms was a good idea at the moment. i got off the free way and pulled into a gas station to pumo in some gas and call my parents to let them know that i was going over to stay with them a while until i got up the money to buy me and jake and the baby on the way a house. i also called to let her know that i was having another baby and if it was ok to find me a doctor up there for awhile.
