Aleister Seymour - POV;

Homeroom had been full of excitement and confusion and I could almost smell the testosterone bursting through the roof as the guys became increasingly happy at the prospect of the Student Council President being our Homeroom teacher.

As she explained, she used to act as an assistant to the teachers ever since she her first year at the Academy and the faculty had voted to give her a space amongst the staff while being a third year student herself. This spoke absolute wonders of her intelligence and ability although she seemed to avoid boasting as much as possible. It didn't take a rocket scientist to realise that the guys were more interested in her body than her brains however. Fang suddenly let out a high pitched bark, startling those present in the room. Aurora spun looked up in surprise having seemingly failed to notice him prior.

"Oh right, Aleister Seymour right? And that is your service dog if I'm not mistaken. I heard about you while I was browsing the class roster. Is something wrong?" Aurora questioned.

"No, we're fine. He doesn't usually make noise like this. Forgive us," I apologised.

Fang then abruptly broke out into a successive round of aggressive growls and barks.

"Fang! Stand down! What's up? Silence!" I instructed. The dog continued his unsightly showing, completely ignoring my demands. Those nearby became tense and the frightened girls even left their seats to step away.

"DOWN!" I exclaimed holding onto the lower portion of the dog's neck. He quieted to an adamant whimper almost immediately. As if with perfect timing, Lucian who sat a few seats ahead shot to his feet, pushing his desk forward slightly in the process. He panted heavily and sweat poured down his face.

"Mr. Valentine?" Aurora seemed shocked.

"I'm going to the infirmary. I feel sick," he wheezed and darted out.

"May I take Fang out for a moment to calm him? He doesn't seem to be acting normally," I requested as I fastened a retractable walking leash to his collar.

"Um... yeah. Sure, go ahead," Aurora said, obviously unsure of what to think about the current situation.

"I'm very sorry for this."

"It's alright. I'm sure he's just stressed at the amount of people here," she smiled as I walked Fang out of the classroom door.

As soon as we were clear of prying eyes and ears, I made a mad dash across the massive labyrinth of a school and burst through the familiar grand doors, slamming them behind me. The blonde looked up in surprise.

"Ms. Blackwood," I panted, "I might have a clue about Livia."

Seth Claude - POV;

"Well that was a surprise," Jake sighed as we left our homeroom class.

"I know right? First the Council Prez is our teacher, then Lucian, Aleister and Fang made a big show all of a sudden. The mkst lively first class ever," I agreed.

"We've got the same class now right? Where did I see it on the school map again?......." Jake thought aloud.

"Hey you two! You're in my class now so no slacking off! I won't tolerate delinquents!" Aurora shouted.

"Come on! This way to the grounds!" she beckoned. Jake and I looked at each other. Sighing, we followed our teacher. It didn't take too long for us to reachor destination where an eager Hank waved to us. It seemed that this was a mixed class and we had just only happened to have Aurora as not only our heroom teacher but our physical instructor as well.

As soon as we settled down, Aurora addressed us, "I would first like to welcome all of you to the training grounds and arena. As you all know, Scarlet Moon Academy is very much based around the physical arts as much as we encourage academic excellence. This world is a very progressive one and situations are always changing. Countries often go to war and the fact that some of the strongest pillars of the world; the Elemental Clans themselves, are always at odds, this proves to be an extremely trying time for the world. Many of you will undoubtedly go the route of being warriors and fighters as most of our graduates do and at that time we trust that you would have acquired a high point in your potential. I will be your instructor for the next year. I know that not all of you are the same and you each may require an individual aid to maximise your strengths but I promise to work my hardest to ensure that every one of you improves ten fold. Today, we shall start simple and do some quick warm up exercises followed by some general physical activity. Enjoy it whle you can because from next time, we will be getting alot more serious."

Our physical periods were truly a change of pace from the expected, and soon to come, boring theory subjects that we would have to force ourselves to get through. Aurora made the class lively and enjoyable.... especilly for the guys who couldn't get enough of seeing her in her tight training outfit which fit her perfectly leaving little to the imagination. She even had to 'karate chop' one of the boys who made it a bit too obvious that he was staring at her chest.

This brought out a number of laughs and giggles. Needless to say, he recieved alot of looks of disgust feom the girls as well. I think it's safe to say that he isn't getting a girlfriend anytime soon........

"Could you come with me for a second Seth?" Hank asked me softly when every one had gone to change.

"Um. Yeah, sure," I responded following him to an isolated corner, "What's up?"

"Do you think that something about Jake is a bit off?" he inquired.

"Jake? Our roommate Jake? No, why?"

"I saw him eating raw meat from the fridge the other day and he tried to hide it when he noticed me. Then, a day or two ago one of the guys had lost his pet mice. It seemed that someone snuck into his room and grabbed the five of them from their cave. Well, this morning I saw him carrying a small shoe box very suspiciously. I followed him only to see him hide it under a bush when he thought no one was around. When I checked later... let's just say I found the remains of those missing pets."

"You.... don't think he juust killed them for no reason do you? I'm sure there's an explanation. Maybe he just took them but he killed them on accident? He probably didn't know how to explain that to the owner," I rationalised the situation.

"Dude, I don't think that he killed them for no reason. What I do know is that one of the creatures whose bodies was most intact had a huge chunk missing. It looked bitten off too," Hank whispered.

"Is that so.... Maybe he just found them after some kind of animal killed them....."

"Yeah, that's probably it," Hank sighed.
