A/N: This oneshot takes place after an alternate version of the Season 3 finale. Some spoilers are in it. Don't read if you haven't seen it.
... Barry's POV: S.T.A.R labs.

Caitlin has been there for me for years. She has always supported me, even when I was at my lowest. It's time I show her how much of a hero she has been to me...

I sped down to her personal lab inside S.T.A.R labs. "Cait, can I talk to you?" "Yeah, what is it?" I inched closer to her. "I just wanted to thank you for being there for me all these years." "Barry, how many times do I have to tell you? I'll always be there for you because I'm your personal physician and your bestfriend." She looked away with what looked like sadness in her eyes. She then said something that was obviously supposed to go unheard. "Because you obviously don't feel any other feelings for me." "Cait, what does that mean?" "Nothing." "Cait, c'mon... You know you can tell me anything right?" "Of course I do." "Why won't you tell me then?" "Because, it's embarrassing. You'll laugh at me and tell Cisco." "I would never tell anyone anything you don't want them to know." She smiled. "If you do tell him I will beat you." She turned red and I laughed. "Ok, tell me." "I- Nevermind." She stormed out.

"Cait! Where are you going?!" I sped into the Cortex as she grabbed her purse. "Cait. At least let me tell you one thing." "What is it Barry?" She asked impatiently. "I love you Cait. I've had feelings for you since the karaoke bar. And I'll understand if you don't feel the same." "I- I'm sorry..." "I get it. I hope you find happiness." I walked away, embarrassed. "That's not what I was going to say... I was going to say I'm sorry Iris died. It's my fault she and HR are dead." "No it's not... It's Killer Frost's fault. What really matters is that you helped stop Savitar. That you didn't lose control to the monster inside of you. That you came back to the team and that you got me out of the Speedforce." "I am Killer Frost." "No. You are the real love of my life. I know that's the real reason Savitar recruited you." I pulled her into me. "Bar-" I cut her off with a kiss. She kissed back. "What the Hell?" I pulled away. "Julian." Caitlin said surprised. He stormed out after glaring at me. Caitlin followed him out of the Cortex. I walked over to the monitor and turned on the camera feed of the elevator lobby.

"Julian." Caitlin said right as Julian pressed the elevator button. "What Caitlin?!" He snapped at her. "I came here because I knew you were here. I wanted to see if you wanted to pick up where we left off, before Killer Frost took over. But my question is already answered." "I'm sorry Julian, but I've known Barry longer then I've known you. I've had feelings for him longer. Not to mention he wasn't the one who ripped off the power dampener. Why would I love someone who let my inner monster out?! He wanted to help me from the beginning. You only joined the team because you like me, not to help stop the guy who had you under his control, the guy who was going to kill Barry's girlfriend. You don't care about anyone but yourself."

I laughed and rubbed my face. Caitlin stormed back in. "God I love you Cait." "Love you too Barr." I kissed her again and sped us to my personal room in S.T.A.R labs. "What about the cam-" I flashed off and disabled the security system. "We're good." I kissed her throat, causing her to moan.

The next morning I woke up next to Caitlin on the bed. She stirred awake in my arms. "Barry." "Yeah?" "You disabled the sound right?" "Uh..." "Barry... Caitlin... You guys here?" Cisco asked over the intercom. I put on some clothes and sped into the Cortex. "What's up Cisco?" "Nothing other than finding out that all of the surveillance system except the sound was turned off. So I check why and accidently played the recorded sound from last night. I want to puke now. My bestfriends being intimate is a horrible thought."  "Then stop having thoughts of it you weirdo." Caitlin said jokingly as she walked in. I laughed at Cisco's reaction. "I'm the weirdo? I'm the weirdo?! I'm not the one sleeping with my bestfriend!" I kissed Caitlin to purposely gross out Cisco. "Ew!!!" He ran out. Caitlin and I laughed.
