Hi, everybody! Sorry I haven't updated in a while. So anyways, the next few chapters will be random stuff, maybe some crossovers with Marvel Cinematic TV shows or introducing characters that have not been shown in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Ruby: This is going to be good.
Crap, you're here too!
Ruby: Yep and I brought Sapphire!
Sapphire: Sorry for intruding, author-sama.
Rin's not coming is she! (Looks around nervously)
Ruby: Don't worry about that tsundere. She's currently on a special trip with the creator.
Oh, thank goodness.
Disclaimer stuff.
Two months after the Battle of New York, Shirou Emiya was finally getting used to this Earth. The organization SHIELD had given him menial tasks since he joined: providing information on his magecraft, providing mystic codes, and creating bounded fields on SHIELD facilities. Shirou had also provided Fury, Hill, and the World Security Council, Fury's bosses, with his own capabilities, though he kept his full abilities a secret. It wouldn't be good for them to learn that he could destroy the Earth in an instant and hunt him down. In return for his cooperation, SHIELD has given him a studio apartment. SHIELD had wanted to give him a penthouse, but Shirou refused, saying that he didn't want to be a burden.
Shirou's spread was simple, but perfect. Shirou had expanded the insides by utilizing the True Second Magic Kaleidoscope. The insides of the apartment now resembled his childhood home. Shirou had also put up a multitude of bounded fields. The only way to get into his house is to go through the front door and to be invited. Shirou had also reinforced the whole building, making it practically indestructible. And to top it off, Shirou had set up the Noble Phantasm Bloodfort Andromeda to act as his most powerful and dangerous trap.
Shirou laid back on his couch and thought of what his life was going to be like. SHIELD was obviously going to exploit him, using him to make super-soldiers, magical weapons, and bounded field defenses. Personally, Shirou didn't want to give the organization magecraft but what choice did he have. If Shirou was to live here and protect this Earth, then he needs SHIELD for its resources and power.
What am I supposed to do? he thought. This world makes no sense. The Thaumaturgical Systems feel weird and the world's consciousness seems to be so spread out that it's practically nonexistent. Also, there are aliens. Freaking aliens! How the hell am I supposed to s-
Shirou's train of thought ended when he remembered that word. Save. That was what Shirou wanted to do. He wanted to save the world from conflict and pain. He wanted to make a world where everyone was happy. This multiverse. It's full of pain and hurt. Powers that mankind are unprepared for are manifesting.
I need to help everyone, Shirou decided. Every version of me agrees on this.
Every other version of Shirou, including reincarnations of him, agreed. Even Angra Mainyu, the part of him that loathed humanity agreed. This made Shirou happy. Before, he was a broken person, not being able to call himself a complete person. But now, with him combining with his alternate selves, each just as broken as he was, Shirou feels whole. His perception on reality is still as warped as ever, but Shirou feels that he's not the same distorted person he once was.
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door.
Must be SHIELD, Shirou thought. They're the only ones who know where I live.
