I hope you all liked the last chapter and have read my other stories.  If you really like this one, you should read my Young Justice Fate/Stay Night crossover too.  It's temporary on hiatus, but should start up again in at least a month.

Shirou had a blade close to the female magician's neck, smiling one of Tohsaka's most horrifying smiles.  The woman looked unnerved, but held her ground.

"So," Shirou said, "who exactly are you?"

The woman remained silent.

"Not going to talk?" the magus asked.  "Well, I'm going order you.  Tell me who you are."

The last sentence Shirou said using the unified language to force the woman to reveal her secrets.

"I am the Ancient One," the woman said, surprised that she was talking.  "The Sorcerer Supreme of this world."

"Sorcerer Supreme?" Shirou asked.  "This will take to long.  A simple mind meld will help see everything."

Shirou put his hand on the tied up woman's bald head.  Using the concept of switching, he exchanged memories with the Ancient One.  They saw each other's memories.  Usually, Shirou wouldn't reveal any of his information, but this was different.  If the woman's title of Sorcerer Supreme had as much relevance to magi as he thought, trust was important.

He was right.  In this world, the Sorcerer Supreme had the same respect as his world's Wizard Marshalls and True Magicians.  Something he also learned from the exchange is that magic in this world did not need to understand the sciences behind magic.  This pissed Shirou off.  All of the magi of his world had to do extensive research for their magecraft, but these guys just said pretty words and expected things to happen.  Some of them even take magic for granted.  This world was truly frustrating.

Both magicians gasped, the memory exchange taking its toll on them.  Recovering, they looked at each other with newfound respect.

"So you're one of the Counter Guardians of the Nasuverse," the Sorcerer Supreme observed.

"'Nasuverse?'" Shirou asked, confused.

"Forget about it," she said.  "All that's important is that you are not  a threat to this multiverse."

Shirou nodded.  "That's right.  I'm just here to protect this and all other multiverses."

The woman smiled and tried to stand up, only to wince.  Shirou saw that despite all of Shirou's healing magecraft, she was stilled a bit injured.

"Sorry," he apologized.  "I guessed I went to far in our fight.  I thought I healed you enough, but I guess it wasn't enough."

"It's okay," the Sorcerer Supreme assured him.  "You were defending yourself.  I shouldn't have acted so rashly."

"Still," Shirou said, "I want to give you something special."

Shirou took the Ancient One's hand and red light shone from it.  On the back of her hand, there was a special symbol in the form of a trifecta.

"What are these?" the Ancient One asked.

"Command Seals," Shirou explained.  "They're special seals meant to control powerful familiars known as Servants.  I've bounded a decent one to these.  Just sacrifice one to summon one to your side.  If you run out of seals, just come to me for more."

"Thanks you," the Ancient One said.  "What an amazing gift."

"It's nothing," Shirou said.  And with that, Shirou disappeared in a flash of light.
