Clarke pov
Today I am telling my people about my first act as chancellor. I'm scared to see what they will think, but I'm excited to see where it will go. I invited Lexa and her people to come and she has no idea of my answer. My mom, Marcus, Raven, and Octavia are the only ones who know my answer and they think it's a great idea, but are also nervous about what everyone else will think. I'm in my room getting ready when Raven comes in and smiles at me, she had a box with her and I get nervous. Last time she brought me a box there was a two faced squirrel in it and she asked if we could keep it. I said hell no and made her take it to the woods. She walks over to me and put the box in front of me.
"Open it" she says
"Is there a two faced squirrel in here" I say and she laughs.
"No it's not a squirrel or any animal, it's something me and Octavia and Lin made for you, because soon we will be one with the grounders, so we thought you should look like them but also look like us" she says and I open the box to see a chest armor and a sword, there's also blue cloth that's attached to the armor.
"Thank you Raven and we I see Octavia and Lincoln tonight I will thank them" I lean in and kiss her an see hug.
Lexa pov
Tonight me, Costia, Indra, Lincoln, and so of my warriors will be going to skaikru, because Clarke has become chancellor and tonight she will announce something. We all get ready to leave, we get the horses ready and we all start the long ride to skaikru.
Once we get there the guards take us to where we're supposed to be seated and its right next to Clarke, Abby, Marcus, Octavia, Raven, and Bellamy. While we wait music is played and there is food and alcohol. Couple hours later someone tells us to take our seats and then everyone comes out and sits except for Clarke where is she. She then walks out and I'm am shocked to see what she is wearing and so is everyone else.
Clarke pov
It is time, I am in my grounder/arlker suit. Everyone walks out and I can hear everyone clapping. Then I walk out and everyone stops clapping and just looks at me shocked. I then walk to the microphone and start talking.
"I know you all are confused and some shocked on what I'm wearing, but it all will make since soon, tonight I give my first act as chancellor and I have thought long and hard about this decision, we all know mountain weather is a threat and they have killed and taken some of our people, but we're not the only one with this problem, the grounders have this problem to, the mountain is taking and killing there people too, the mountain men will not stop until they can come out of that mountain, and the only way is to take our blood and that means killing us and I don't want that and neither does the commander. A couple days ago the commander asked me a question and I couldn't give her a answer because I didn't know what everyone would think and I was scared of what you would think, but I don't care what you think, because this decision will save all of us not just us, but the grounders to, the commander asked me when I become chancellor to join forces, where skaikru and trikru live together, and together we will be stronger and we will take down the mountain and we will have revenge for the ones we have lost. That is why I'm wearing this, but if I'm going to be a leader with the grounders, I have to look like them and, so commander you have my answer skaikru will join you and we will be one clan, but not just one clan we will be the strongest clan, and to any of my people who dislike grounders, I hate to break it to you, bit were not in the sky no more were on the ground and you know that makes us...." I say and wait for an answer and I get scared but then everyone shouts 'grounders' and everyone starts cheering and I smile knowing what I just did and knowing we will all be safe. Lexa and Costia come up to me and Costia hugs me and Lexa shakes my hand grounder still.
"I'm glad you made this decision, and you speech was amazing" Lexa says and I smile and nod.
"Thank you and i can not wait to get started on building our new clan" I say and she smiles.
"Neither can I, and I have the perfect place to build it and tomorrow we will get stared" she says and I nod then Costia speaks.
"Yes and tomorrow you will meet our daughter" she say and I nod.
After we talk some more, the grounders go home and everyone here packs and gets ready for tomorrow because tomorrow we start building our new home.
