➡Niall's POV:
An awkward silence overtakes our group. No one wanted to start the conversation. "So do you like Lily?" I finally blurt.
Simon nods. "She's an extremely sweet girl."
Paul nods in agreement. "I like her and I haven't even properly met her."
I smile and get up. I wander into the kitchen, grab some pretzels and Nutella, then walk back into the living room. I plop down on the couch, set everything on the table and get up again. Everyone watches me with amusement in their eyes and watch me as I walk up the stairs.
I burst into the room and see Perrie and Eleanor dressing up Lily in a princess dress and Sophia curling her hair. Lily looks cute and adorable but the face she is pulling tells me she isn't a girly girl.
I laugh and quickly snap a picture. Lily sticks her tongue at me and then pleads with me using her eyes. I shake my head and walk out the door. I know Lily wouldn't say anything because it would hurt the girls' feelings so I feel slightly guilty, but the feeling is mutual.
I stomp back downstairs and burst out, "Lily is getting dressed up as a princess and she looks really adorable!"
"THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A SURPRISE NIALL!!" All three girlfriends scream in unison angrily.
"I don't think that Lily is a girly girl, either," I whisper. Louis chuckles and runs upstairs.
"Get out Louis!" I hear Eleanor yell but not as loud as she screamed to me.
Louis comes running downstairs. "Correction Niall," he says. "I don't think Lily likes the poofy dress she is wearing. If you were to give her a less poofy dress and it were orange I think she would gladly wear it."
"Okay?" I answer. Kinda. Louis just grins and shakes his head.
Meany.
Simon and Paul stand up. "Well, I think we're going to leave," Simon says and shakes our hands.
We all group hug instead and Harry shouts, "Girls can you bring Lily down?! Simon and Paul are leaving!"
Lily comes down the stairs in the way she does; one step at a time. She is wearing a-Louis is right-poofy pink dress and her blonde hair is curled to perfection. Her chocolate brown eyes are surrounded by a little bit of make-up and her wholes face is slightly red because of all the attention directed towards her.
"MAKEUP?!" We all shout angrily at the same time. Sophia, Eleanor, and Perrie blush.
"We wanted to experiment!" Perrie tries to explain.
"Did it have to be on my daughter?!" Louis explodes.
"Technically, she is mine, too." Eleanor defends with a small, sheepish smile.
"Can I please change?" Lily's small voice asks. "And get the icky stuff off my face."
"Ha!" Louis exclaims and points to El who just rolls her eyes.
"Sure sweetie," Sophia says and takes her upstairs. Perrie follows after pecking Zayn on the lips and El stays down here and argues childishly with Louis.
"I personally don't think makeup is healthy for six year olds," I comment.
"Yeah!" Louis backs me up since I agreed with him.
"Shut up Nialler," El huffs with a small joking smile on her lips.
I place a hand on my heart and put a hurt expression on my face. "Harsh," I sniff. I shove my nose in the air and walk away in a dignified manner.
Everyone laughs at my antics. Simon and Paul finally leave and I'm caught by Liam in the kitchen (of course) "nursing my pride" by shoving food into my mouth.
He bursts into hysterics and calls everyone into the kitchen. Lily is the first one and all the makeup has been wiped off. She is also back in her normal clothes.
She giggles and runs up and hugs me. I guess she is in a clingy mood today. I hug her back and hand her a piece of chocolate. She smiles and puts it in her mouth.
"Fank mou," she says with a mouth full of chocolate. Lily blushes and swallows. "Thank you," she repeats clearer.
I nod. "Anything for my princess," I declare in a deep voice and Lily starts to laugh.
All the lads and the girls eventually make it to the kitchen and grin when they find me still stuffing myself.
I smile toothily at them and they start to laugh like Liam did. Lily grins and giggles at me and I blurt randomly, "We should go ice skating!" Everyone looks at me strangely. I squirm uncomfortably and ask,"What?"
"Mate, we just went to the beach, it's August, and you want to go ice skating?' Louis finally asks.
I nod. "Yeah, it just came to me," I explain.
"I'm in!" Lou shouts excitedly. He pumps his fist in the air and does a little happy dance for...some...strange...reason? I don't know.
Sometimes I worry about him.
But I grin at his response and look at the other lads. They're all nodding their heads. The girls squeal excitedly and go to the guest room where they keep extra clothes. Sadly, they drag Lily behind them and are going on about "how this is such an amazing opportunity to make Lily cuter than she is."
I feel bad.
I quickly run upstairs and change into thicker pants and a warm shirt. I grab a sweatshirt just in case. Then I sprint downstairs and put on a pair of Vans and wait impatiently for everyone to get their butts down here. If you can't tell, I'm excited.
Special Fact: In real life, I like orange and penguins
So I'm gonna start this thing that when I update I will name a real life book that I like.
