Annyeong guys!!! I'm Bea and this is the first fanfic I have ever written. So be easy on me. Also, English isn't my mother language so if you see any spelling/grammatical mistakes, please tell me.
I will upload regularly since I already wrote half of the story. I hope you enjoy it and let me know that you think in the comments. Feedback is important. Love you all and see you around 🤗

Narrator POV
It was a new beginning. Another new beginning. Different country, different language. She was exited for what can come but also afraid. She felt like a stranger in her own country.
His dad was asked for a mission in Korea. The conflict between, both North Korea and South Korea was getting worse. Luckily, he did not have to go to the battle field.
She had Asian factions but she couldn't speak Korean very well. She grew up in USA. Her family talked Korean but they weren't that much at home to teach her.
Y/N POV
"Don't forget to act normal, this is your country, don't let them make fun of you" my dad said. Well dad thank you, that didn't help, now I am even more concern
"Gomawo" I said "I want you to speak to me in Korean from now on Appa, so I can get used to it easily"
"Of corse my angel" he said placing a kiss in my forehead
Meanwhile my mom was looking at her phone, chewing gum and acting like a brat
"I'm going mom" I yelled even tho I was by her side
"Uh huh" she said without looking at me. Ugh, I hate her so much. I don't know why my dad is with her. She doesn't work, she doesn't do anything and she always has treated me like I wasn't her daughter. It is a shame to say this, by tbh I already got use to it. For me I just had my dad as my family and that was alright.
I left the house with my heart beating fast. That was it. New school, new country, new culture. I could do it.
I took a deep breath and step inside the school hall. It was for sure a fancy school. I told my dad it wasn't necessary to go to a private school but he insisted. He thought I will have more possibilities to go to a good University if I go to a high school like this.
"What can I help you with miss?" The lady behind the corner spoke to me. I couldn't understand her
"Hmm, sorry could you repeat that" I try my best Korean accent but she realized it wasn't my mother language. She rolled her eyes and repeat again as slowly and she could
"I am new student"
"What year?"
"Senior year"
She point to the playground where there was a couple of other students and a teacher talking to them. I'm not late, am I?
I walked to them, trying no one notice me. But few people looked at me and I felt exposed.
For what I could understand we were going to have a tour around the school and then, they will assign us to a class. A, B or C depending on our level. She said something about subjects but I couldn't really understand.
We started walking. I notice a guy, cute as it can get. He was all by himself. The rest of the students were talking, getting to know each other, but he wasn't. He was serious, he didn't seem shy or insecure. His lips were press together. His blonde dye hair was messy and his eyes were looking straight, with a cold sight.
I enjoyed the view. He reminded me to the winter. He had a thin body, yet he seemed so strong. His was dressed all black and looked kinda badass, I honestly loved wearing guys clothes, and that for sure was a style I would totally wear. He looked like a fictional character, so perfect...
Suddenly our eyes make contact. Normally in this situations I get so shy that i look away, making stupid fantasies in my head. But this time was different. We kept looking at each other, both serious. We were analyzing each other. I think I never felt more confident than looking at this guy. I didn't feel judge, I didn't feel exposed. It felt like he was daring me.
"Hellooooou" someone jumped in front of me with a huge smile that make her eyes disappear
"Oh hmm, hey" I said and she bowed. I bowed immediately forgetting this was a thing here.
"My name is Lisa, and yours?"
"I am Y/N, nice to meet you" she noticed my accent
"Oh, were are you from?"
"I'm from USA"
"But you are Asian"
"Well yeah, long story" gosh, I was gonna get this type of comments more than I would like. Better get used to it.
"I'm from Seúl, from here, but I wanted to change school, my last school was crap. This is my last year and I know it sounds crazy I changed in the last moment but it's also a long story. Why did you transfer here?" tbh, I didn't understand anything, she spoke so quickly and with a deep accent. I just nodded hoping my best
She gave me a weird look, and twist her mouth. She thought about saying something but only replied with "Well, see you around" and left
"Annyeong" I said while bowing even tho she wasn't in front of me anymore.
Oh gosh, I screw up, I screw up so bad. Suddenly a feeling of fear invaded me. I wanted to get out of here. This wasn't my place
Once in the class the teacher gave us a test. First part was in Korean, and the second one was an English level. I was glad I could see some romanization.
The thing is that I could read Korean more or less because my father put me into classes as soon as he knew we were moving here. The talking, writting and understanding was my problem.
The guy from before entered in the class when everybody was already sat. People started whispering, specially girls. He caught my breath, his lips were moist from drinking water I guess, and he couldn't look more perfect.
From all the vacant seats he sat next to me. He didn't look at me. He just took a pencil out and wait for the teacher to give him the test.
Well great, if I was going to do bad, with him by my side I won't be able to concentrate at all.
I completed the English test first. The rest of the time I stared at my Korean test, without a clue of what I should write. I tried to write something but my handwriting in Korean was the worst. I erased again and again.
From no where I felt a tapping in my feet. It was from the boy next to me. I looked to his side, without looking him at the eyes. I didn't want teachers to think that I was cheating.
He moved his test so I could see what he had written. Was he helping me?
I notice his English test was empty. Waoh, first day of school and I'm already doing this. I moved my English test so he could see it. We didn't look at each other at any moment.
I finish my test trying to change some things, so it wasn't obvious I cheated.
He finished before I did, stood up and left the room without looking back. I wish at least I would have thanked him.
Narrator POV
What Y/N didn't notice was that he was looking at her through the window. He analyzed her movements. He felt something strange. He was already planning something.
