Chapter 12

"What happened in there?" Joshua asked me on our way to his house.

"You really want to know?" I asked him not making eye contact.

"Yes" he said turning down the radio.

#Flash Back#

These past few weeks with Donavan have been great. We have been spending a lot of time together. Ive been at his house so many times that I have a couple of pairs of cloths at his house. I havent spent much time at home because I can't stand to be around my father.

Today was the day I've been waiting for, for so long. The 'KingOfTurnUp' party! There's going to be twerking, music, and fine ass niggas (yes I know I got Donavan but it's nice to show them what they can't have). I've been doing 50 squats for two weeks getting ready for this party.

I go on twitter and I see all these notifications from people who are going to the party and who know me.

"@B4NGERZ__ can't wait to see you tonight!"

"@B4NGERZ__ you gonna be throwing that ass in a circle?"

"@B4NGERZ__ gonna be puttin in work!"

Those tweets made me laugh so hard. I needed a good laugh.

"What are you laughing about?" Donavan asked coming into the room.

"Haha, nothing it's just these people that are going to be at the part tonight are funny, and I wanted to tell you that I'm going over the Mari's so I can get ready there and then we are going to the party together, I know you don't like parties so I was going to let you have the house to yourself." I said packing my stuff.

"Oh ok cool. Have fun but not to much fun." He said giving me a quick kiss and walking me to the front door.

When I got outside Mari was waiting for me in her car blasting her music like the ghetto black girl she is. I love this girl to death but everything about her is loud. She's still bae tho.

"You ready to turn up tonight?" She asking me pulling out Donavan's drive way.

"Hell yeah. Imma twerk till my ass falls off. It most likely won't because those squats I did got my butt nice and fit." I said laughing at myself.

#5 HOURS LATER#

" THAT. PARTY. WAS. AMAZING! I haven't had that much fun in so long." I said with the biggest smile I've ever had.

"Haha, I'm glad you had fun. It nice to see you smile." Mari said unlocking the door.

A couple of minutes later Mari dropped me off at Donavan's house and I said my goodbye's and told her I loved her. I walked up the front steps to the house and unlocked the door. When the door opened I saw Donavan already standing there.

"Hey babe, the party was great, I wished you would have came."

"I don't think you'd want me there. You would have gotten the chance to cheat on me. I know you cheated on me Robert,nth at why your home so late."

He was looking at me with the most evilest look I've ever seen and I knew he had been drinking because I smelt the alcohol on his breath.

"I'm not home late. I told you I'd be home at this time and I didn't cheat on you. Where is this coming from?"

"Shut up!" He said bring his hand back and smacking me to the ground.

I grabbed my face in pain. I felt the blood coming down my cheek. I looked up at him in horror and saw him going for another hit. I dodged it and ran into one of the rooms.

"And then that's when I called you. you saved me Joshua" I said grabbing the one hand that wasn't on the wheel of the car. "I can't thank you enough" I kissed his cheek.

"You don't have to thank me. I will always protect you" he said giving me a small smile.
