"Hi, I'm Mackenzie Rink and well I'm a girl." Everyone laughed, while the teacher kept glaring at me. I sat in the empty chair beside Ben. 

"First day of school and made the whole class laugh, impressive." Ben said and winked at me before turning his head to the teacher. I felt heat in my cheeks.

Chapter 8 - I'm Alive

Riley's P.O.V.

There is no way in hell that I'm ever going to like Ben. Though its not possible to marry him or anything. Since I have a mate ! 

Mind : But he rejected you

Wolf : He is still your mate, though he rejected you ! He is still yours and you are his.

I shook my head all this different things talking to each other in my head is really giving me a bad headache.

BOTH OF YOU SHUT UP

Finally it was calm and silent, so is the classroom and is staring at me. "Ms. Rink, mind telling us who were you talking with ?" Oh crap ! 

"Ummm.. I was talking to Ben." I turned to Ben. "right Ben ?" Ben glared at me, but sighed in defeat and nodded. 

"Well, since you are still the new girl, I let you get away this time." I sighed in relief. The class continued and it went so fast, that I didn't even remember anything that the teacher was teaching. 

It was lunch already, I was left alone by Ben stranded in the school's hallway. But then I spotted the twins. "Jake, Jack." The boys turned and saw me.

"Kenzie." They said in unison. "Where's Ben ?" Jack asked. 

"Meh." I said while shrugging. "Is there something that I should know about this school ?" I asked. 

"Yes, but its not our place to say, you could come and sit with us in the cafeteria." Jake said. 

"Yea sure, its not that I have other places to be." I said with full sarcasm. The twins and I walked to the cafeteria together. When we entered the cafeteria, it was filled with people. As in people, I mean people humans, not like me, werewolf. I spotted Tanner and the others, I quickly went to them leaving the twins with the lines. 

"Hey Kenzie." Tanner greeted. 

"Umm hi. Can I ask you a question ?" I asked. 

"Yea sure, its a free world." 

"Is there something I need to know about this school, is everyone here are werewolves ?" I half whispered.

"About that... we'll talk more about it at the base, okay ?" I nodded. 

"Kenzie, we bought you food." Jack came with two trays. 

"Thanks, Jake, I'll pay you back later ?" 

"Firstly, sure. Secondly, this one is Jack and that little piece of shit right there is Jake," He said pointing to the other person who had similar features as him a.k.a. Jake. I laughed. 

"I'm sorry, its hard to find a difference in both of you." 

"Or maybe she loves me more." Jake suddenly bursted. 

"Nuh uh." Jack argued.

"Yes uh ?" Jake argued that came out more like a question.

"BOYS !" I exclaimed. The two of them shut their mouth while me and the other laughed.

The school time passed by and believed me, I love my old school better. I miss Jason, Adrian, Kelly, and the others. Not that I don't like my group here, it's just different. 

As we arrived at home, I immediately dragged Tanner to the living room and pretty much everyone too. "So are they all werewolves ?" I asked. Excuse me, its not normal for me to be with humans. 

"Nope, some of them are humans." then he stopped. I waited for him to continue but no.

"That's it ?" He nodded. "GAAH... whatever." I said then stormed to my room.

I was awoke when suddenly Ben barged in to my room. "What the." 

"Get ready, we are going out." He said and went out of my room. 

"Uh. what the heck, Ben !" He turned and smirked. I grunted. I got up from my bed and got ready. I went for the casuals. A maroon hoodie, ombre blue pants, and my red high-top converse. I got down and everyone was ready. Cass was wearing her blue blouse with a legging and her tiger pattern flats, while Kelsey was wearing dark blue hoodie, a denim shorts and her nike kicks. Us, girls, have our hair in a messy bun. The boys were all wearing knee-short pants and t-shirts. 

"Ready ?" Tanner asked. The girls and I nodded. "Riding plan is that I'll go with the twins, Kelsey with Cole, Cass with Gerald, and Kenzie with Ben." I faced Ben and he was smirking. I rolled my eyes, I walked toward him. 

"So what are we riding ?" 

"That," he said pointing to a big, black motorcycle. 

"How bout a no." I argued. 

"Oh, you're riding with me whether you like it or not." Since I couldn't do anything about it, I just shrugged it out. 

"Whatever." 

River's P.O.V.

A week since Riley is missing, I contacted all pacts in the world, no news. I shook my head. Why should I reject her ?!?!?! 

I sighed and walked out of my room and seeing Greg and his mate. I didn't acknowledge them, I just walked past them. "River, c'mon lets get something fun to do." Summer shouted from the crowd. I ignored. 

I walked to the forest and shift to my wolf form. 

I'm going to find her no matter what. 

Riley's P.O.V.

"AAAAAAA." I shouted. 

"Shit, are you trying to make me deaf." He said. We are currently still on the road to the theater, Ben would teased by drving the motorcycle to fast. I shut my eyes, hugged Ben tighter in the waist, and just hope it would end fast. 

5 minutes later~

"Kenzie." 

"Kenzie." 

"Kenzie." 

"What ?" I asnwered finally. 

"We're here princess." I opened my eyes. 

"I'm alive." I cheered. 

"Yes, you are and you can let go of me now." I was slightly embarassed. 

"Yea, sorry." I mumbled and let go of him. Ben just smiled.

Oh gosh finally this chapter is done. Do you just love the Ben and Riley moment ? I'm falling in love with my own character, BEN !
