Chapter 9 - Betas

Riley's P.O.V.

"So what are we watching ?" I asked after we got our snacks. 

"Well, I want to watch Need For Speed." Tanner said. 

"Can I watch Nonstop ?" I asked.

"Yea sure, I guess. alone ?" Tanner asked back.

"Why not ?" I smiled at him. Then suddenly Ben raised his hands up. 

"I'll watch with her." He said proudly. Tanner was a bit not at ease when he heard that. I wonder whats wrong

"Oh okay, I'll buy the tickets." Tanner said and he left to go to the counter. Minutes later, Tanner came back with seven Need For Speed ticket and two Nonstop ticket. He handed me and Ben, our tickets. "It seems like our movies is a bit longer than yours, you could go home first, no need to wait." I shook my head. 

"Naah, me and Ben could wait for you guys in the game arcade, right Ben ?" I looked at Ben. 

"Well I..," I nudged him in the stomach and smiled at Tanner. "I mean, yea, we'll wait for ya guys." 

Atta' Boy

Tanner nodded and walked to the theater 3, while me and Ben went to the theater 5. "What was that about ?" He almost yelled at me. 

"It'll be rude if you say 'well I'm prolly going to be tired, I'll go home first with Kenzie'" I said, mimicking his deep voice. 

"Firstly, I don't talk like that, second," I cocked an eyebrow at him. "You're right." He continued, sighing really deeply. 

"Now c'mon we're going to miss the movie." I shrieked and dragged him to our seats.

After the movie, we did waited for the guys in the game arcade until 7:30 and we went to grabbed supper in Domino's Pizza. And we all went home and call it a night out. 

The next morning~

THUMP !

"OUCH!" I shouted in pain. Then suddenly the twins, Ben, and Tanner came barging in to my room. 

"I heard screaming." Tanner said, heroicly. 

"It was just me, falling out of my bed." I said annoyed. 

"Oh," Yeah oh. The twins helped me up and they all went out. I checked my phone to see what time it was 10:30

Don't we have school ?

I quickly went out of my room with my shorts and tank tops to Ben's room. I opened the door and saw him laying on the bed. 

"VAMPIRE FUCK !" He screamed. I glared at him. 

"Vampire really ?" He shrugged his shoulder. 

"What are you even doing here ?" He questioned. 

"Its 10:30 and we are not going to school ." I said. 

"Where's your question ?" 

"Oh yea, do we have school today ?" I asked. He shook his head. "Then?" I asked with a really long 'e'. 

"We are all skipping."  I formed my mouth to the shape 'o' and went back to my room, but stopped when Ben caled my name. "Kenzie." I stopped and glanced to the back, to see him already behing me. 

"Y-y-yes?" I stuttered. Stupid, why did stutter ?

"Do I scare you ?" That was his question ?

"N-n-n-no, w-why d-d-did y-y-you asked ?" 

"Nothing," then he started to kiss my neck and to my jaw line, making me moan. After about 3 minutes, he then stopped, slowly, of course. I was just dumbstruck. I walked awkwardly to his room door and out of his room. "By the way, Kenzie," I looked back to him. 

"Y-y-yea ?" 

"You look hot in your pjs." And he closed his door. I felt my cheeks heaten up. I immediately sprinted to my room. I shut the door with my back leaning in the door, holding my cheeks. 

You have a MATE ! The wolf inside me greeted unpleasantly. 

Holy cow, you shocked me. I could feel that Naya was rolling her eyes.

Well ? 

Well what ? I asked back. 

Nevermind. I shook my head.

"Get ready, training starts in 30 minutes." Ben said after barging inside my room and leaving me, confused. 

"what do you mean by 'training starts in 30 minutes' ?" I yelled at him. He went back to my room and approached me.

"It means training starts in 30 minutes, darling," He whispered in my ear. I was jumping inside me, butterflies everywhere. When he separate the closeness, I literally sighed heavily, Ben was was just smirking. 

"You don't need to whisper it to me, babe." I said teasing him back and walked to the bathroom. I changed my pjs, to a sports bra and my puma shorts. Coming out of the house, everyone was ready, Kelsey and Cass was wearing the same thing as me except we just have different colors and brand. I said a simply 'hi' to everyone. I stood between Cass and Jack. 

"Since everyone is here, lets start our training." Tanner shifted. "Run in your wolf form around the forest and meet me here again in 10 minutes." I immediately shifted and literally everyone was gawking, well, except Ben and Tanner. I shrugged it out and ran toward the forest.

In the middle of the forest, I stopped, to be exact, I got lost. 

I should have brought someone with me

I thought to myself and out of a sudden, a wolf howling was heard. I growled. It was 2 minutes or so until there was another howl. 

"Come out whoever you are, I ain't afraid of you." I said confidencely since I could fly. then from many direction, wolves came, I smirked and flew toward the sky. But I couldn't control it yet, so I kinda stumbled back to the ground, where I was surrounded by the wolves. 

Someone helped me.

Fortunately I kind of mind-link with the whole pack and seconds later, Ben and Tanner came and stood there heroicly, and in a split second, all the wolves was gone.
