The elevator booms up like a bullet. Before I can think, we were already at our destination.
"Listen to me, Ronnie." Jeramiah says, loudly. I roll my eyes.
"No seriously, listen." He grabs my shoulders and turns me around. That startles me.
"Fine!" I shout, "I'm freaking listening!"
"The girl you are going to meet, Tori, is a Dauntless leader-" I cut him off.
"Wow Jer, I didn't know you were a matchmaker!"

I push my porridge around my bowl, and then into my mouth ravenously, and the only thing I can think about is whether Ronnie is OK or not. I start panicking. Finally, I push my bowl aside, and walk back to my dorm, and towards the chasm.
"Hey Luke!" Reuben yells behing me. I spin around, and see his dopey smile looking back at me. "Don't forget to use protection. The table explodes in varieties of laughs, snorts and snickers. I put the rude finger up at Reuben, but he just pokes his tongue out at me.
Sometimes I just need to get away from everything...
