Why everything?

I felt the soft leather seat against the palms of my hand. Both me and Hunter sat in the blue sport car and looked out throught the front window.

Hunter stretched out his arm towards the seller. "We'll take it."

The seller put a timetransfer against Hunter's wrist and a quiet click was heard. "You two look familiar." The seller frowned and me and Hunter glanced at each other.

No, I had time to think before the seller dropped the timetransfer on the ground and quickly pulled up a cellphone from his pocket. I quickly and without hesitation pulled up my gun and pointed it towards the seller. He got a scared face expression.

"Put down the phone." I said with a calm voice.

Hunter still held out his hand against the seller. "And give us the keys."

The seller slowly put down the cellphone in his pocket again and then took a step back.

I quickly loaded my gun and the seller widened his eyes when he heard the gun click.

"Stop walking, and give us the car keys." I raised my voice just a bit and the seller stopped.

I saw other men in fancy suites come running towards us, they had probebly seen what happened.

"The keys." Hunter said and stretched his arm closer to the seller.

"Now!" I screamed and put my finger on the guns trigger.

The seller took a deep breath and then gave Hunter the car keys. Hunter quickly started the car's engine and drove away just when the two other men came up beside the surprised and scared seller.

-----------

Hunter had driven out from the "main city" of New Greenwich and the big fancy city landscape had been exchanged against woods and smaller roads. Hunter pulled over the car and turned off the engine.

I started laughing. "That was awesome!"

Hunter looked at me confused. "You know that we are wanted right? And we just threatened a car seller, we both have shot people and we steal things all the time since our time is fake!" He shook his head.

I stopped smiling. "Yeah, I know all that. A-and I don't know why but it just feels good to break the rules, live a little dangerous and especially don't need to worrie about if you will die tomorrow." I looked down at my knees. "I'm sorry..."

Hunter took my head in his hands so that I looked at him. "You don't have to apologize." Then he started smiling. "It actually was kinda fun..., and badass. The most imoprtant is that I have you." We slowly kissed each other.

When we had ended the kiss I took Hunter's wrist and his clock started ticking.

"What are you doing?" He asked and looked down at our clocks which went up and down when he got and I lost time.

"You payed the car, I want both of us to have as much time."

Hunter nodded. "By the way, how much time have we left? I haven't even bothered to watch my clock."

I laughed. "Me neither!" I leaned closer to Hunter, so close that I could feel his warm breath against my face. "But I can guess how much we have left. Many years, over a hundred of years!" I smiled and kissed Hunter.

-2 weeks later-

"How was the gym?" I asked when Hunter walked in throught the front door to our hotel room.

"Good. I'm just gonna take a shower and then maybe we could go and eat something."

I nodded. "Sure."

Then Hunter walked into the bathroom and closed the door behind him. It didn't took long before he came out again, but not alone this time. Two men had bound his hands behind his back.

I quickly stood up from the comfortable couch and took a few steps towards Hunter and the two men. "Hunter?"

Three more men came out from the bathroom. How long had they all been there!? And how could I not have notice them!? "What the hell is happening!?"

One of the three men that didn't hold Hunter nodded towards the door. He was probebly some kind of leader or something. Where these people minutemen? I didn't even know that there was minutemen in New Greenwich.

The two people who held Hunter started dragging him out the door. Hunter started fighting back but he couldn't get loose. He screamed my name.

I took a step forward but the minuteman leader, or what he now was called, stopped me. "Hunter!" I screamed. What the hell was happening!?

I got pushed into the bedroom and then down on the bed. I started screaming on top of my lungs but the men just put some tape over my mouth. They started to rip off my clothes. A single tear slowly rolled down my pale cheek. They were to strong...

------------

I sat in the corner of the bedroom with my arms around my knees. Didn't want them to see anything. Bruises started to show on my arms. It felt like every muscle in my body was hurting. I had never felt this vulnerable in my whole life. I just wanted them to go away. I just wanted them to stop staring at me.

The men threw some clothes at me and told me to get dressed. I didn't want to stand up. Didn't want to show anything. Didn't want to take orders from these disgusting people. One of the men took a step closer towards me and I shuddered.

The men laughed and one of them said. "Thought so. Now get dressed."

It was no need to fight, no need to scream, just do as they say. I slowly stood up on trembling legs. Big smiles appeared on the men's faces. I stared down on the floor while I put on the clothes and heard the men whispering something.

When all the clothes was on my body one of the men walked up to me. I took a step back and looked away, closed my eyes. What would he do now? Would he rip of my clothes again? He took a tight grip around my wrist and my arm hurt. I knew what he was doing... He took my time. I didn't even have the strength to fight back, or care at all.

Suddenly the man let go of my arm and took a few steps back. "Wonder if you have the time to be saved by your precious boyfriend. He's a couple of blocks down the street." The man nodded towards the right.

The men walked out the hotel room while they laughed loudly.

I looked down on my clock. I had 18 minutes left of my life.
