Clarke wakes up and starts the same routine she had began 2,199 days ago. She goes outside and looks at her surroundings, she was in the one area of green that she had seen, the rest of the world was ash and dust. She picked up the radio ready to talk static and silence. Everyday past the 5 year mark she lost more hope that Bellamy was ever going to come down.
"Bellamy if you can hear me, if you're alive it's been 2,199 days since Praimfaya I don't know why I still do this everyday, maybe it's my way of staying sane. Not forgetting who I am. Who I was. It's been safe for you to come down for over a year now. Why haven't you?"
Suddenly a loud whoosh was heard and Clarke felt her hair pushed out of her face by a large gust of wind. She looked up and saw the small rocket she had not thought she'd see again, she smiled and picked the radio back up.
"Never mind I see you."
She ran to wake Madi, the young night blood Clarke had found in Polis while she had been trying to reopen the bunker.
"Hello my young nightbleda wake up."
"No lessons today."
"No they are back."
Madi's small eyes shot open and a smile grazed her face.
"The boy you love, you will see him again."
Clarke smiled at the little girl, she had come so far and she was like a daughter to Clarke.
"Yes. Now wake up and you can meet him."
Once Madi was awake they packed up the rover and drove to the where Clarke had seen the rocket land. When they got there Clarke didn't even wait for Madi she couldn't hold in her excitement. She waited outside the door for someone to walk out. After 2 minutes of waiting the door finally opened and Clarke couldn't hold in her excitement she ran inside
She saw his broad shoulders and his brown curls now littered with gray first.
"Bellamy?"
When he heard her voice he slowly turned around his eyes wide with surprise, but before he could open his mouth a small voice was heard.
"Daddy who's that?"
