Chapter 14

Mias POV

I wake up and it's 12 pm. It was

Saturday so I didn't have school or

anything. I put my clothes on my very

sore body. I slowly walk downstairs and

there are multiple people passed out on

the floor and on all of chances couches.

I walk past the kitchen and he is in

there cooking. "Good morning, how are you?" Chance says handing me a coffee

cup. I eagerly take it and fill my cup up,

I add creamer and sugar sitting down

on a bar stole. "I am okay, very very sore, but I'm okay" he looks up at me

"do you mind telling me what happened last night? I didn't want to ask yesterday because you kinda distraught" I clear my throats and

begin to talk. "Do you know that guy Kristian?"

"Yes, I know him a little too well. I have never invited him to a single one of my parties but somehow he always ends up here"

"Well anyway I don't really remember anything other than him locking me in that room and taking my clothes off, the next thing I know I have blood on my body and you are wrapping me in a blanket. Since my body is sore I am assuming he raped me but honestly I was so drunk I couldn't tell what was going on. I think someone put something in one of my drinks..."

"Listen I am really sorry, I never intend for things like these to happen at my parties. That's why I don't invite people like him.."

" I know you don't, it's okay I will be fine"

"So what are you doing?" He asks me

changing the tricky topic.

"I am going to see my boyfriend, kian, on Tuesday in Houston so I was thinking I would go shopping for some new stuff. I was gonna take Vanessa but I have no idea what happened to her last night"

"She was really drunk so I gave her a ride home in her car and walked back home"

"Awe that was really sweet of you.."

why aren't more guys like chance? I ask

myself. "I am gonna call nessa" I walk

out to the back pool area and dip my

feet in the pool while calling her. She

doesn't answer. I walk back in and

chance has a plate of food sitting by my

coffee mug. Now that I am thinking

about it I really am starving. "Would you want to go shopping with me?" I

say without really thinking. "Yeah! I have nothing to do today so I think we would have fun!" Chance says more

eager to shop than expected. I finish

eating my food. "I will just text you when I get home about when we should go shopping, is that okay?" I say

opening the front door. "That sounds good!" I walk home because his house

was surprisingly only about 3 min

away. When I get home my mom was

gone, I walk into my room and turn the

shower on. I lay out my clothes and

plug in my hair dryer. I get in

shampooing my hair and wash my

body. I feel so much better now that I

have showered because that filthy guy

Kristian's scent was all I could smell. I

throw on one of kians tshirts and go get

a drink form the kitchen. My mom is

sitting with a huge grin. "What's going on?" I say very confused. "Come with me my mom says" she pulls me

through the front door and I see a black

Jeep Sahara sitting in my driveway

with a huge red bow on it. "Oh my gosh, is this mine?" I give her a huge

hug." Yes baby, it's all yours." She

throws me the keys. I run inside getting

ready fast so that I can take it for a ride.

I text Chance "Hey I will come by and pick you up in 20?" He replied

"okay:))" I finish getting ready and run

out to my car. When I get In it is all

black interior just how I would want it.

I have no idea how she knew this was

my dream car but she did. Chance gets

into the car with wide eyes "dang who's car is this?" I laugh "it's mine silly"

"Wow" he says looking around. We

arrive to the mall and to my surprise he

is actually a lot of help in picking out

my outfits. I got four new shirts, a

dress, a pair of checkered slip on vans,

and 2 new wedges. We worked up an

appetite shopping so we stop into a

Mexican restaurant on the way back. " listen, I had a great time today."

Chance says grabbing my hand. "I did too but you just have to remember I have a boyfriend" chance laughs
mia.. I am gay" I instantly feel so

embarrassed and my face turns bright red. "Oh sorry.."

" no, don't be. You are a pretty girl so of course when a guy goes out with you, you have to be on your guard" we laugh and continue having a good time eating.
