Chapter 57

Kians POV
It's the next day and me and Mia just woke up but Asher and clay are still asleep. I'm about to go but Asher a phone. "I'm gonna go get the phone which one should I get?" "Just get the 7 in silver with a case." "Ok I'll be back soon." I say kissing her "love you" "love you too" I say stepping out the door. I drive to Verizon and tell them which phone and get the case. I picked out a blue one with Batman on it. I get in the car and go back to the hotel and Asher and clay woke up and are watching spongebob. "When do you wanna give it to him?" "We can now I have to talk to him first of course you can too." She says and I nod. 

Mia's POV
"Hey Asher come here I wanna talk to you." He comes over and sits on the bed "I got you something but you have to promise me you won't tell anyone. Not even dad. Ok. If you do you and I will get in trouble and it will be taken away. Got it." "Yeah" "it's something really cool but you can't bring it to school or show your friends or anything it's only for you." Kian says. I show him the phone and he gets really excited "it's your phone but you can only get games and text and call on it. I put  me and Kians number in it so you can call and text whenever but you have to hide it somewhere safe where dad won't find it or he will take it. You can call me at anytime without asking dad. Don't give anyone your number." "Thank you thank you thank you." "I hope you like that case kian picked it out." "Yea I do." "You Can call anytime, especially if dad is being mean to you or something happens." "Ok" he downloads a couple games and after we get dressed and go get some food from McDonald's and eat breakfast "so what do you wanna do today?" I ask Asher "can we go to sky high" I look at kian and he nods his head. "Yeah we can go after we finish eating" a few minutes later we are done eating and we get in the car to go to sky high. We start driving and my dad starts calling me "hello?" I say "when are you bringing Asher back" "I don't know, why does it matter it's not like you made any special plans with him." "Ok smart ass he has to go with his mom today at one" "what do you mean go with his mom." "We got a divorce a couple months ago while you were too busy getting pregnant." "First of all you need to shut the fuck up. And second you think I'm a bad person but maybe you should think of yourself being a bad person considering every woman you have been with has broken up with you. I will handle the situation with her you go do what's best at which is being a dick." I say hanging up. Kian puts his hand on my leg to comfort me and calm me down. We get there and we go in "I have to call his mom so I'm going in the bathroom you get the wrist bands." I go in the bathroom and call her "hello?" I say "Hi Mia how are you?" "I'm pretty good what about you." "Could be better what's up" "i didnt know you and dad got a divorce. But I came to town and I have Asher right now because he spent the night with me and my boyfriend at a hotel. And dad called me and said he had to go with you at 1" "oh ok if he's with you that's fine. If you can we can go to dinner tonight at like 6 somewhere and I can take him then so you have the rest of the day with him." "That would be great." "Ok oh by the way congratulations on the baby your dad told me." "Oh thank you it means a lot finally not getting yelled at about it." "No problem I'll see you later." "Ok bye." I walk out and go to kian and hold his hand." "Are you ready?" He asks I nod my head and we go in. Asher starts jumping and playing. "Can you come jump with me?" He asks "me or kian. one of us has to stay with Clayton." I say he doesn't say anything "Kian?" Asher nods and kian gets up handing me clay. They start jumping "ready I'm gonna do a flip" Kian says "your gonna break something." He tries to flip but lands on his back. Asher starts laughing and kian gets up they jump for a little while longer and kian sits to take a break. "What do you think about going to dinner with my stepmom tonight. Well not my stepmom now because my dad and her broke up. So Asher had to go to her tonight but wanted us to go to dinner." "Does she know about clay because im over you getting screamed at because of him and I'm not letting that happen anymore." "She knows and she said congrats on the phone so she knows." "Yeah I guess" "Are you sure you don't have to go." "No it's fine." I look at him "I promise it's fine" "ok" I say kissing him I give kian clay and start jumping for a few minutes. After about an hour it's 1 pm we eat lunch and we go to the dodge ball section and then the foam pit section. Asher sits down next to me. "You gotta go to moms tonight but we are going to have dinner in 2 hours then you will go home with her." "Will I see you again before you leave?" "Yeah for sure we are here for 2 more days." "Ok" we leave sky high and we go to the hotel to change because Asher is all sweaty. It's about 5:30 and we are eating at Olive Garden at 6. After we change we get back in the car and drive to Olive Garden and walk in she comes up and gives Asher a hug "hey buddy did you have fun." He nods. then she gives me a hug . "This is kian my boyfriend." I say "nice to meet you." She says "you too." He says then I show her clay "this is Clayton he's almost 3 months." "He's so cute." "Thank you." We get a table and start talking "did you finish school?" "Not exactly. I got pregnant so it wasn't the best but We're still figuring it out." "Oh ok. I think you should sometime even if you don't go to college you only have one year left in high school." "Yeah I have to wait for the right time." "I understand." We order our food talk and everything then I feed clay and we get up to leave we go in the parking lot and I hug Asher "I'll text you later ok?" I whisper "ok" he smiles and gets in his moms car I put clay in our car. "Does Asher live with you."  "Yeah he just goes over there every other weekend not like that dick deserves to see him." "What happened why did you divorce?" "He hit Asher and goes out to drink every night and gets really drunk." "What he did when I lived there?" "I never saw him hit you guys other wise I would have done something. I never knew I never saw anything. All I knew was that he left and came back late. I'm so sorry. I would have done something. I'm working on Asher not being able to see your dad. He never wants to leave he always cries when I drop him off." "It's ok as long as it is stopping. Let me know if he's not allowed over there too. I got him a phone to call me when he wants at dads house because he could never call me I put my number and Kians number in it but I told him not to tell anyone so if you see it pretend you don't and act like you don't know. I put restrictions and everything on it so he can only get games and text and call me and kian." "Ok I'll let you know when everything is settled with Asher and dad but I understand about the phone thing. You can pick him up at any time tomorrow I can give you my address and when you come back you are welcome to stay at my house instead of a hotel." "Ok thank you I'll text you tomorrow and let you know." We hug goodbye and me and kian get in the car. We start driving back to the hotel "I can't believe my dad is doing the same shit to Asher that he did to me. That's so fucked up." "Yeah." Kian says "what's wrong?" "Nothing I just think you worry too much about him. You can't protect him from everything. His mom is handling it. You're his sister not his mom." "I worry because what happened to me was so fucked up. You don't understand because you don't know my situation. You don't have to worry about your dad beating you. I'm sorry my life is all sorts of messed up while your is all fine and fucking dandy. But if I don't care who will. I was alone for all of it which was the worst part I don't want him to feel alone. It sucks. And until you have been through what I have and dealt with the things I dealt with. You aren't going to tell me if I'm worrying too much. Or it's not my problem" I say annoyed "I'm just saying...." I interrupted him "I don't fucking care what you're saying kian. You don't understand and you never will so I'm going to worry however much I god damn please." I say getting really mad. He doesn't say anything after that. We get to the hotel and I get clay out of the car and go up to the room and kian is behind me. I change clay and then I change and I lay in bed Giving clay a bottle. Kian goes in the bathroom and once I heard the door open I closed my eyes to pretend I was asleep so he wouldn't say anything. He came over and kissed my forehead. And lays next to me. "I know you're not really asleep but I love you." Even when I'm annoyed and he says I love you I can't help but to smile.
