RING RING RINGThe phone rang while Bonnie curled her hair, Elena swiping mascara on her eyelashes, and I was trying to perfect a wing on my eye. So far it was failing. I did perfect on my right eye and now I can't do it on my left. Elena closed her mascara bottle and went over to the phone to answer it.
"Hello? Hi, Mrs. Lockwood. What do you mean? It is? Are you sure? Cause I saw it. Let me check. I will find it a bring it. Ok, bye," she hung up from the phone call setting the phone down on her bed.
"What's wrong?" Bonnie asked as Elena stalked past us and into Jeremy's room. I shrugged knowing Elena will solve the problem. I turned on the curling wand and let it heat up. I finally did my wing perfect and swiped some mascara over my already long eyelashes. Finishing the look I swiped some lipgloss over my lips. I decided I wanted to actually try to look beautiful tonight. I never dress up so it's different to me. Tonight should be fun, if I want to be tortured by seeing Caroline flirt nonstop with Damon. Great.

I put on my dress and looked in the mirror. Hopefully this looks good enough. I walked down stairs careful not to trip over my heels and fall. I saw Elena and once she saw me she squealed and hugged me.
"You look so pretty," she smiled and I thanked her saying the same. She grabbed her stuff and we walked out the door meeting Stefan.
"Holy, you girls look so gorgeous," he smiled and kissed Elena quickly. We got in the car and sped to the party. I opened the door and got out looking out at all the people. They were drinking, laughing, and having fun. Hopefully that will be me tonight. I followed Elena and Stefan as they linked arms and walked up the stairs. Stefan whispered something in Elena's ear and she laughed walking off. I couldn't help but think more about Stefan and what happened the other night. That was super strange and he still hasn't talked to me about it. I looked down at my open toed heels then looked back up meeting with the familiar crystal blue eyes. Damon's eyes widened as he looked me up and down. I smiled shyly and walked over to the staircase. I walked up them and found Elena and Stefan looking at some of the things on loan.
"The founding families in Mystic Falls welcomes you to the inaugural founder's council celebration. Wow, look, it's the original guest registry. Look at all the familiar names. Sheriff William Forbes, mayor Benjamin Lockwood. Is that Damon Salvatore?" Elena asked leaning closer to the paper. I looked over her shoulder and indeed it did say Damon's name, but what was weirder was that it said Stefan's name just above his.
"And Stefan Salvatore?" I asked squinting my eyes at the name. Why would their names be on there? It was from long ago.
"The original Salvatore brothers," I looked behind me to find Damon already staring at me, and I internally groaned and rolled my eyes when I saw Caroline by his side like his little pet.
"Our ancestors. tragic story, actually," Damon shrugged and I actually rolled my eyes when Caroline saw me staring at him so she grabbed his arm 'claiming' what was hers. I guess she doesn't know me enough to know that I will confront her if she annoys me too much.
"We don't need to bore them with stories from the past," Stefan shook his head and Damon just stared at him.
"It's not boring, Stefan. I'd love to hear more about your family," Elena smiled at him. Stefan looked at her over to me. I shrugged feeling Damon's eyes on me. I didn't want to become part of the conversation, but I do want to know more about their family history.
"I'm sure it's not that bad," I smiled looking at Stefan then over to Damon again.
"Well I'm bored. I want to dance, and Damon won't dance with me," Caroline sighed rolling her eyes.
