"Stefan! Stefan?" I called out as I searched his room. I stopped in my tracks once I felt a presence behind me. "You're standing right behind me, aren't you?"

"Yep," I turned around and my eyes trailed down Stefan's body. He didn't have a shirt on and the cute smile on his face made me smile. I leaned forward and pressed my lips to his making him smile against my mouth. He pulled away seconds later looking deep into my eyes.

"Good morning," he whispered pushing a strand of my hair that fell onto my face behind my ear.

"I don't want us to be apart anymore. Ever," I pouted at him.

"Me neither, but...." he trailed off and I grabbed his neck and pulled his lips to mine.

"Don't ruin the moment," I mumbled pulling away a few inches. He took on a deep breath and I rolled my eyes. "You're about the ruin the moment, aren't you?"

"I'm totally ruining the moment. I can't just pretend like everything's okay," he told me watching my hands trail from his shoulders down to his bare chest.

"Katherine's locked away in the tomb,"

"I know, but we still have this pressing little issue of you being Klaus' human sacrifice," he said and walked to his dresser pulling out a white tank top. I watched as he slipped it over his head covering his bare torso.

"Yes, but Elijah promised to keep me and everyone else safe as long as we played by his rules," I added making him roll his eyes at me.

"Right. As long as you played by his rules,"

"Please don't go after Isobel," I begged looking into his green eyes.

"Katherine said Isobel could have some answers, and I just have a couple questions, that's all," he shrugged making me cross my arms. We already dealt with Isobel once, we don't need to worry about her again. I don't want to see her again.

"Stefan, I made a deal with Elijah," I reminded him.

"Right, you made a deal with him. I didn't make one. You should keep your deal,"

"I don't want anyone else to get hurt," I walked closer to him and he grabbed my hands. His warm hands enclosed over mine.

"When have I ever wanted somebody to get hurt," he added making me sigh. I walked over to the window and poured some alcohol mixed with vervain into a glass cup. As my lips touched the glass I cringed at the horrible taste. I then held out the glass to Stefan. His eyes flickered back and forth between the glass and my eyes.

"Vervain. I made it light, but are you sure? Just because Katherine built up a tolerance..."

"Yes," Stefan interrupted taking the glass from my hands. He held it up, "Bottoms up," he smirked before bringing the glass to his lips. He took a drink of it and threw his head back trying to swallow the liquid. I bit my lip at his reaction. It must be painful as hell to drink that. Seconds later he set the glass down onto the table and leaned against it starting to cough. I put my hand on his back rubbing gently as he looked at me.

"You okay?"

"Yeah," he groaned standing up straight again.

"How can Elijah compel another vampire?" I then asked him. He wiped his mouth off with the back of his hand.

"He's an original. I don't really know what that means. I don't think anybody really knows what that means. Well... except maybe Isobel. I'll be sure to ask her," he nodded and I opened my mouth my but his lips met mine shutting me up. Before I could say anything else he walked away leaving me alone in his room. I sighed deeply before making my way downstairs into the living room. I need a drink, one that doesn't have vervain in it.
