Chapter XVIII: Chaos

"13th hour? Are you telling us that around 1 am or pm she'll kill Bloody Velvet?" Todoroki uttered seriously as I am beginning to wonder how he's usually here when he belongs to his father agency. I sighed, nodding before leaning back on my chair.

"That's what she said." I told him, as they further question me.

"I don't really know what her intentions were, at first she lock every door and window, took my phone using her quirk and sat there, greeting me a happy birthday." I explained, remembering every second from the moment I entered my apartment.

"Offered me wine, and laughed remembering the christmas party we had in middle school... It was weird and awkward for some reason." I scratch my head, actually liking that moment... Her laughter was genuine.

"Then, I told her not to do it, to kill Bloody Velvet, and she said she had to, that she wouldn't let anything stop her. Told me what kind of monsters they were.... And how she murdered Black Knight." That took all their attention.

"Like what you guessed, she overheard the conversation. Black Knight tortured her  before attempting to kill her and things went dark." I didn't want to mention that the bastard attempted to rape her.

"You think she was reasonable?" Todoroki asked me as our eyes met.

"As much as i want to punch them all... I don't really know..." I slump my face over my report papers, frustrated. I'm pretty sure that Monoma out there is spreading rumors about me letting her go.

And speaking of the devil...

"Villains, aren't reasonable, they kill for fun. Isn't that clear to you?" Monoma uttered, smirking, crossing his arms by the door frame of my office. Todoroki decided to ignore him and I'm planning to do the same thing.

"You're inlove with her aren't you Bakugou? You probably sent that devil in the losse, letting her kill everyone she pleases." I tried to concentrate on something else so that even if I could hear him talking I wouldn't be able to digest the words he is speaking. Unfortunately, my brain refuses to cooperate.

"She's a monster, all espers are!" I gritted my teeth, lossing my patience.

"Espers aren't monsters!" Before I could speak, someone else already did. The ravenette who I happen to adore, with her bright saphire eyes was looking all upset behind Monoma.

"Who is this brat?"

"Espers are usually kind, like how guns are harmless unless you pull the trigger! They losse control over themselves if you pick on them! So if a espers goes rampage it practically your fault for pulling the monster inside them!" She yelled as I actually never knew that.

"They don't like what they are doing! It's the power's fault! Yet they remain sane, they know enough who deserves their wrath and those who doesn't! Haven't you seen?!" She kept screaming at Monoma as we continued to listen to her defense. It creeps me out that everything is even beginning to float around us.

"During the airport bombing only Slick died! She didn't want to hurt everyone else but him! She's still kind! And Slick obviouly deserves that!" What she said seems like a slap to me... Four bombs exploded, yet no one died, it's just to much of a coincidence. She's making so much sence.

"Ka--- Kuromi!"

"What?!" And her lips fell in a thin line, the brightness of her saphire eyes desappearing.

"Shut up, wait for me outside, and get those things down." She nodded, lifting her fingers as the things that floated returned to their former places. She march outside as Shinsuo sighed.
