As the sun rose, the rooster on top of the Parkers' farm called out its morning call. The town of Silvea soon awakens as the first one to rise and get a move on was Mack Toofier, the sheriff. Today is the town inspection. "Mornin' Mack."

"Good morning Charles." The sheriff walks into the saloon with another behind, holding a broom. Charles, the one with the broom, was the bartender of the saloon. Charles Wescy was the sheriff's best friend ever since he was a little boy. They played and had fun together, they were a unbreakable team. Charles inherited the saloon and Mack inherited being the sheriff once both of age. "Regular?"

"Regular." He nods and pulls out a bottle of Ginder Ale from under the counter. His sheriff pops the bottle open and gulps it down.

"What'ch gonna do today?" The bartender takes out a rag and start shining some glasses.

"Heh, you make that question sound like a joke."

"That is one of my qualities."

"Well partner, it's town inspection day." The sheriff gives his drink another gulp.

"Already? Wow, it felt like we did one last month." Nodding, Sheriff Toofier responds.

"Sure does but you know the rules Charles. I have to do it multiple times a year which is 4 times a year, ya know."

"I know but wow, this is probably gonna be an interesting inspection." Mack gave him a questioning look while drinking his Ginger Ale.

"What do ya mean?"

"I mean that I've heard around town that certain events have been occurring and things have gone missing."

"Events? Missing things?"

"Yup." Charles finishes shining the drinking glasses and moves on to the next chores.

"Well I think it's time for me to get a move on." Chugging down the last of his drink, the sheriff wipes his mouth and takes a breath.

"Go on and inspect the saloon, I have to start wiping down tables and setting chairs up."

"You got it buddy." The sheriff gets up from his stool and inspects the saloon top from bottom.

Later
--------
It was 8:00 am and he finished his inspection. "Looks like you're free to go Charles."

"Oh thank goodness!" They both chuckle from his sarcastic remark.

"Welp, I going. Need anything before I go?"

"Well I need some milk so when you inspect the Parkers, can you pick up some?"

"Sure." He leaves and as he steps out of the door, his friend stops him one more time.

"If you were curious where to start, try the trading market."

"Ok Charles, good day mate."

"Good day." The sheriff walks out and gets on his horse.

"Let's go Beau." The horse giddies ups and they head to the trading market.

"Hello Sheriff Toofier!"

"Hello Ms. Carabell, you remember what day it is?"

"Yes I do, inspection day! Go head, we're just opening so if there's a noise then it's the traders coming in."

"You got it miss." He tips his hat and looks around the trading post.

Sheriff Toofier finished his inspection and comes from the back when it was 9:00 am. "You heard what happened to Farside?"

"Yup, they aren't look'n so good."

"Howdy fellas, I heard that our neighbor town hasn't been doin great. What's happening?" They turn to him and greet him.

"Hello Sheriff."

"Howdy Sheriff Toofier, you are right about not being on the top side."

"Uh-huh, farm stock and livestock have been disappearing time from time."

"As well as a bit of.... redesign."

"Disappearing resources and a bit of....redesign?" They nod.

"Well.... Cya later."

"Goodbye."

"Good day." The sheriff leaves the trading post and continues to inspect the town. As he continues to search everything to hotel to the shops, he thinks about the neighbor town, Farside. "Good day Sheriff!"

"Good day madam Mari!" He exits the shop of sweets and sighs. It was now 5:00 pm and he was heading to his final place of inspection, the Parkers.

The town so far had no problems. Though for the Parkers' farm, it would take at least 3 and a half hours to inspect so it so he saved it for last. "Time to head out to the farm."
