"I know Mack but we have a situation."
Mack looks at Arthur in a fearful, serious but curious expression.
"What?!? What is it?"

"It's Sileva. We got a message of help and need of their sheriff, which is you."

"Then I need to go, now."

"Go...... go and get back to your town. Bring Beau back around and I'll get you the supplies." The sheriff nods at the other and runs over to the stables, Beau was awake and pondering. Slamming the stable door open, she was startled as she instantly got up and looks st her rider. The expression he had, she recognized and understood. He hops on and rides towards the direction of his home. Arthur comes out the house with the supplies and throws them as Mack catches them and holds them tightly. "Come on Beau! We need to reach home as fast as possible!" The duo races back to Silvea without a second to lose.

16 hours later

The rider was still riding his horse as they reach their first stop when they started their journey. Tired, but slows down and trots as Sheriff Toofier holds on to his consciousness. "We'll..... Stop.... Here.... For..... Tonight...." Beau knew he was tired and needed to get him somewhere so she trotted towards the hotel where they their new friends were. Loudly neighing, she walks over as her rider was trying to stay awake. They make it to the door as he fell off then uses Beau to support himself. "Beau?!? Is that you?" Mr. and Mrs. Sass come out as Star was being carried in her father's hands. She gasps as stars formed in her eyes. "Horsy!!!" She claps her hands as her father puts her down and quickly moves to Sheriff Toofier. The sheriff starts to fall to the ground when Mr. Sass catches him and slings his arm around his shoulder. "My god, what happened to you?"

"Noth..... in....." His wife looks at him and inspects him.

"You're exhausted! You've must of been traveling 16 hours to get here! You must rest, take him into the hotel." Her husband nods and takes Sheriff Toofier inside with Star as the mother takes Beau to the stables carefully. "What made you travel 16 hours straight? I know that no one, even you, would definitely have a reason to do it unless it was dire or important."

"Call.... for.... help....... Silvea.... needed me......" He slowly places Sheriff Toofier on the bed and helps him remove his vest, belt and hat.

"No wonder you were in such a hurry." Star hopped on the other side of the bed and cuddles with the sleepy sheriff. The sheriff tiredly chuckes and her father chuckles to. "Would you mind.... if Star slept with you? I doubt that she wants to leave you and she seems comfortable. Plus, it would help us out a lot since Star is our night owl." She giggles at her nickname.

"Of............. course..... having...... company..... is..... fine...."

"Thank you Sheriff Toofier. Well goodnight and don't let the bedbugs bite." He turns off the lights and closes the door. Star yawns and cuddles up with him. "Nightie night...."

"Goodnight Star." And with that they fell asleep.

The sheriff wakes up seeing that Star was gone and the door open. Sitting up, he notices a plate of lunch and a note on the bed stand. He picks it up and reads it:

"Hello Mack,
Thanks for letting Star sleep with you. She's a handful went it comes with to bedtime. I hope you didn't mind and she said thanks. I expected you to wake up around noon so I made lunch for you. Enjoy but when you're ready, you can move around and restalk then get a bit more rest in. I know you're urgent about getting back to Silvea; but after traveling for 16 hours, you need lots of rest.

He smiles and yawns. "That ride really took a real number on me......" He gets up from the bed and stretches. Looking back over at the plate of food, he sits back down again eats it. "This is some fine grub...." A knock was heard from him door as he saw all of the children standing there.
