"K, wake up!...""K....."
"KARA!...."
"What did I say about using my NAME!" I yell at her.
She know better.
Erika chuckles and dodges the pillow throwed at her face.
Oh early bird gets the word ass.
"Well get your booty up, Mark and Theo are going to take us to McDonald's. You better be dressed and ready when I come back in here."
I grab some random clothes out my bag and head for the bathroom.
Luckily, there were no gangster rats and roaches in this one.
*********
"Are you ready, K. We've been waiting on you for ten minutes. Come on." Erika shouts walking into the room. Making me mess up my puff.
"Damn it, Erika. Now my puff is lopsided." I give her my best death stare before trying again.
"We gotta go." I do one last puff check before speeding out the door behind her.
I stop in my tracks when I see both of them leaning against the wall by the door.
Mark nods his greeting, but Theo doesn't acknowledge my existence.
"So....can we go now." Erika says and heads for the elevator.
I catch the back of the elevator where the handrail is. I never liked elevators.
There are only three stories in the hotel and we're on the third one.
I'm almost hyperventilating by the time we get to the lobby.
I shove through Mark and Erika hearing there complaints behind me.
"Hey!" Theo grabs my arm and pulls me to him. "Where the hell are you going?"
I don't want to tell him about my fear of elevators. So I come up with something else.
"I want my Shamrock shake." I say with a forced grin.
He searches my face for some time before he scoffs and pushes me away.
"Everything okay." Mark asks coming up behind us.
Theo nods and heads out the door.
That is so ungentlemanly.
Girls first.
"You know girls are supposed to go first right."
He looks back at me with a smirk. "Maybe the girls should speed up then."
********
Theo gives me the death stare as I sip on my Shamrock shake.
"Did you really need all that food?" I shrug my shoulders making him glare even more.
Spending thirty dollars at McDonald's makes you that mad.
He turns away from me murmuring something along the lines of 'where does she put it'.
Erika giggles from the front seat, while Mark just shakes his head in amusement.
I told them I was hungry.
