Percy paced the floor a little, waiting for his lover to come through the doors. It was well past the time they had to be here, and Alex had already downed seven jello shots in one sitting. The party was amazing, Kiwi on the turntables as he spun the newest tracks and hottest club hits, Rachel danced in her expensive casually nice clothing that made her look like she should have been on the runway and not in a club, the twins bugging Trevor and Lucas to dance with them, but no sign of Nico. Luna was even there, taking sips of her beer as the minutes ticked by.

"You know, you don't hide your worry well." She stated, handing Percy a drink. Percy took it thankfully and took a swig. It was bitter, but the distinct nectar taste was laced in making it taste bettter.

" I'm just nervous." Luna arched her eyebrows a little and lead the young man to the bar. Everything looked like it had when they had been there after the summer of the Labyrinth.

"About what, might I ask?" Percy tried not to stare into her deep amber abysses, knowing that if he did, it was all over. "Is it because of the fact it's the anniversary of you and Nico becoming a couple?"

Percy shook his head no. "Actaully... I love Nico to death but..."

Luna's eyes darkened a little in worry. "Are you falling out of love with him?"

"No!" Percy shot out. How could he fall out of love with Nico? He was perfect in every way, and he would always love him. "I... I want to love Nico, you know, show him exactly how much I love him." Luna's eyes eidened a little in understanding.

"You want to propose to him." Percy nodded yes, and a high pitched squealing came form the dancefloor. The two wallflowers stared in shock at Alex, who was looking right at Percy. Luna took a step to the side, already knowing what was going to happen. "Prepare to catch her."

"Why-" Then it hit him. Legit, she ran and rammed into him in a tackle hug. "Oaff!"

"YOU HAVE TO MARRY HIM!" She screamed at him, her drunken slurs coming out easily as she let out anther squeal. "JUST THINK, I CAN PLAN THE WEDDING AND YOU TWO WILL BE THE MOST ADORABLE COUPLE AND-"

"Enough, Alex." Luna said, pulling her off Percy with ease and setting her in a seat. "You just scared the poor demigod."

"BUT THEY HAVE TO GET MARRIED! THEY ARE DESTINED FOR EACH OTHER!" Then Alex fell face first onto the floor. "Ow."

"Hopefully that sobers her up." Trevor said, a smirk of satisfaction on his face from pushing Alex off her chair. "She always overdid the shots."

"And you would know." Luna said jokingly, looking at Percy. "When were you going to propose?"

Percy shrugged a little. "I still need to find a ring... And I want it to be the most perfect thing in the world."

"Oh?" Rachel said, leaning on his shoulder because she was finally taller than him... in her heels. "So, basically never?"

"No! I would do it... sooner or later." Percy blushed red. Everyone had abandoned the party and were all at the bar, listening and thinking. "It just has to be perfect, something Nico would enjoy."

Luna pushed off the bar, her white dress flowing around her ankles as she maneuvered her way to him. "What are you willing to do?"

"Anything." Percy didn't even hesitate at all, and she smiled. That smile said it all. He was screwed.

"Leave it to me, then."

Nico walked into the club, the door left unlocked just for him. He hadn't realized how late it had gotten, the bright stars were already out and shining and the moon was full in the sky. But how could he? He was in a white padded box writing up this story with Annabeth. They had only just begun on the story, nearly scratched the surface of how to make the story better, when the nurse said time was up. He had hurried here, hoping he wouldn't get another tea cup thrown at him and a crazy white haired Alex screaming YOUR LATE FOR THE PARTY!

But when he got in, he was surprised. Percy was sitting at a table for two, dressed up in a black suit an red tie, in candle light. He smiled handsomely and Nico couldn't help but blush. "Percy what the hell is going on?"

"Trust me, I have no idea. Nice suit by the way."

"Hu?" Nico looked down at his cloths and groaned a little. The minute he walked in the door, his cloths had been switched from his normal black attire to a white suit with a blue bow tie. Just to be Percy's opposite, he betted. "Ok, if this is a joke, I am going to kill you." Nico hissed.

Percy shrugged his shoulder, a playful smirk playing on his lips. "Trust me, I have no idea what is going on."

"Please, Mr. Di Angelo." One of the twins said, taking his arm and leading him to the table. "How could you forget a special day like this?"

"Special?" Nico said in a surprised tone as he was seated across the table from his boyfriend. "Isn't this just Luna's awakening party?"

"Give it time, we got this to worry about."

As soon as Nico opened his mouth, the darkness was pierced like a dagger through fabric by stars and moonlight, illuminating the room around them. He gasped when he saw Rachel in a seat at the bar away from them in a teal sparkling dress, drinking a small martini and chatting with Trevor behind the bar. Trevor was dressed up in men's clothing, pre-dated to around the time Nico was born. Then he noticed everything was pre-dated to around the 1940s. Everything! The wallpaper, the musical record selection, the atmosphere, the clothing, it all felt like he was back in time to his childhood.

"What's is going on?" Nico breathed as his eyes trained on Percy. The damn son of Poseidon just smiled.

"You'll see."

The rest of the time was a blur. It didn't even feel like time was moving as they talked, laughed, and ate the classic Italian food that was served by the little twin waiters. And as desert rolled around, the music stopped, and the lights dimmed down.

"What's going on?" Nico whispered, the silence wrapping the rest of the room around like a shadowy blanket. Percy just smiled and stood up. "Percy, what are you doing?"

"Desert can wait." Percy said, taking Nico by the hand and pulling him to his feet. "Just let me lead."

Then the music started, but this wasn't the records this time. Rachel was up on a little stage in the corner of the room in front of a microphone. Trevor, Lucas, Kiwi, Alex, the twins, and Luna were there too, but all of them had an instrument you would typically find in a jazz group at the time. Percy smiles at Rachel and started dancing with Nico, the music washing over them like gentle waves against the bare beach sands.

"You enjoying yourself, Nico?" Percy asked as he twirled Nico in close.

"Yeah, this is fun." Nico admitted grumpily. Rachel's singing blended with the sound of the band, and everything went hazy. It was just him and Percy and the jazzy buzz in the background. Gods, this was perfect. "But why are they doing this?"

Percy smiles and the music slowed to a slow song, a hint of a violin playing it's sweet melody to introduce Rachel's harmonic voice into the song. Leaning in, he kissed Nico on the lips, just a small peck, but still enough to set Nico's cheeks on fire with a blush.

"It's our seven year anniversary." Percy whispered, smirking a little as he twirled Nico so he faced away from him. "And I have a surprise for you."

"Wha-" As Nico turned back around, his mouth fell open in shock.

Percy was on one knee, a classic male wedding ring in his hands. The music was dulled and quiet, the suspense in the air was electric. Percy looked up at Nico with a determined look on his face.

"Nico Di Angelo, will you marry me?"

Nico felt tears fall down his face, his face easily slipping into a humongous, overjoyed grin. "YES!" Nico screamed as he tackled Percy to the ground and kissed him out of joy. Percy just let him, falling back down on the hard floor and kissing back, breaking away just to slip the ring onto his finances finger.

"Called it!" They heard Alex squeal, as everyone else cheered. "I told you they would have a happy ever after!"

"Oh shut up, your ruining the moment." Trevor said in a dull, bored voice.

Rachel ran over to them and squealed excitedly. "This is amazing! You two will be so perfect together!"

Nico grinned up at her, then lovingly down at Percy.

"I know."
