Andy
We all sit at a table together.
The restaurant is pretty crowded, and no one recognizes us. As long we act like regular people, we pass unnoticed.
We get a few stares from older people, they're looking at Martin.
He's wearing leather straps, and barely looks at the people giving him weird looks.
I could never do that. I care too much about what other people think.
I sit next to Dave, who sits next to Alan.
Across from Alan sits Charlie, then Evie, than Martin.
Martin puts his arm around Evie, and she leans on his shoulder.
I'm glad they're happy.
I see Dave and Alan staring at Charlie, she's talking to Evie and Mart.
I don't know what's going to happen between Alan and Dave, but it's gonna be awkward.
After we look at our menus and place our orders, two police officers come into the restaurant and over to our table.
Oh no, what do they want?
Charlie
"Miss Wells?" Says a voice behind me.
I turn around and see Officer Campbell, who questioned me about the men who beat me up while I was in the hospital.
"We think we've caught one of the men who attacked you, can you come down to the station with us?"
I know I'm as white as a sheet.
"S-sure," I say, nervously.
"We'll go with you." Dave says.
Andy quickly explains our situation to the waitress and throws some money at her to pay for drinks.
Since I'm not being arrested, the officers decide I can go in Andy's car.
Andy gets in the driver's seat, and I sit in the passenger seat. Evie, Dave, and Alan sit in the back, and we've thrown Martin in the trunk because he's shorter than Dave and Alan.
"I hope we don't get arrested for doing this!" Calls a pissed off Martin from the back.
We laugh, except me. I'm nervous to see who they caught.

When we arrive at the station a few minutes behind the officers, I'm quickly escorted into Inspector Galveston's office."Take a seat," he tells me. "I have three daughters, Miss Wells. All of them are around your age. So, that's one of the reasons why I'm so intent on getting these men behind bars. Your bruises are gone, and you look pretty healthy to me. Anyway, here's the mugshot of Nigel V. Fox, one of the men we believe attacked you."
He holds up a picture of him.
I gasp.
"That's one of them." I squeak.
"Okay. According to your statement, you said that the five of them never referred to each other by name?"
"Yes, that's correct. There was a 'ringleader', the man who started to beat me up and grab my arm and purse, but that wasn't Nigel."
"We're hoping he'll give us all the information we need so he won't get a bad sentence. Campbell told me we interrupted a lunch with your friends, sorry about that."
I assure him it's fine, then leave.
Alan, Dave, Martin, Andy, and Evie are all waiting for me in the main hall.
"So?" Martin asks, as we leave.
"It's one of them, and I don't know whether I should cry or celebrate." I say.
"Aw, that's horrible!" Says Evie, placing her hand on my shoulder.
"I think we should get ice cream, to celebrate 1/5 of the gang sitting in a police station cell." Says Alan, pointing to an ice cream parlor down the street from the car.
"Don't forget Black Celebration!" I joke. "Our celebratory lunch was interrupted."
"That's great too, but I want to see these guys in jail for life." Says Dave.
And we all walk in together.

That sounds like the end of the story, with that last line, but this story is FAR from over! ;)
