After a long trip towards the office, Lillian, Chloe, and April had made it. " Lillian, I'm gonna need you to come in with me. April might not be familiar with the way that Glendan- " Chloe started " The way that Glendan does what, exactly? " A voice spoke from behind the three. Chloe hadn't even noticed that the door to Principal Glendan's office opened. " Shut up, Glendan. We got a new kid, " Chloe responded, almost instantly knowing Principal Glendan was there. April was frozen in place. She was terrified of the way that Principal Glendan acted toward Chloe. Lillian patted April on the head. Chloe turned to April and took a deep breath. " Let's do this, April, " Chloe stated. April nodded her horned head, yet was in a state of panic internally. They entered the office as Chloe smacked the desk Principal Glendan was sitting at. "Alright, Chloe, what do you want other than telling me there's a new kid." he asked her with a tone that tells her he didn't want to deal with her right now. "Her name is April and could you give her a few days to get her settled in to the school?" Chloe asked him. "And why would she need a few days, exactly?" Glendan asked, not knowing what April's been through. Lillian whispered something in his ears and his eyes immediately widened. "Well, then. I will give her those few days but I'll need April herself to answer a few questions for me," he said. "Okay," April replied while awaiting the questions to be asked. "First off, your full name," Principal Glendan got out a clipboard and a pen. April took a deep breath. "April Arachne Ghaston," she replied. He wrote her name down and stopped writing to ask the other question. "Where did you go to school before coming here?" he asked. April took another deep breath as Chloe and Lillian looked at each other like they were giving each other a message. "I was home schooled. So I'm technically in 2nd grade," she replied. Principal Glendan continued writing things down. Glendan sighed. " That'll be all for now, Miss Ghaston, " Glendan stated.
April exited the office with Lillian and Chloe, still a tad shaken. " He was kinda mean, " April stated. Chloe and Lillian jumped back in shock. No one ever addressed this out loud. " No one's ever said that! Even if they did, they'd end up regretting it later! You're a brave kid, April, " Lillian complimented. April's gloominess soon turned to confidence as they started to head back toward the dorm. But before they could do anything, France stormed down the hall toward them. Once he halted to a stop, France began to pant. " France, what's wrong?! " Chloe asked in concern. " It's... Lance.... He's back. William saw it in a vision! For real, Chloe- " France replied, interrupting himself with more heavy panting. " Are you okay, France? " Lillian asked. Chloe rolled her eyes about how predictable Lillian was when she was boy crazy. " Nope. Being distressed and out of breath is a bad combination, " Lance remarked.
