"Ai yi yi. Crawl out of one hole, and into another." The mysterious Spaniard's voice wakes me up. Leon and the man are sitting back to back on the floor with their hands tied behind their backs. My hands are lifted, but why? I look up at my hands to see that they are chained on the wall.

"You've got to be kidding me," I grumble. Whoever did this to me probably just wanted a good look at my body. "How come you two are on the floor and I'm on the wall?" I ask.

Leon looks up at me and lifts one eyebrow, smiling. He turns his head to the Spaniard. "You wanna tell me what's going on here?"

"Americanos, si? Now what brings you two to this part of the world?" The Spaniard purrs. Leon tries to free himself, but only hurts the Spaniard in doing so. "Easy, whoever you are." The Spaniard says.

"My name's Leon, and the girl is Leonor. We came here looking for this girl. You see her?" Leon answers, managing to show the Spaniard Ashley's picture.

"What, are you guys supposed to be cops or something? Nah, you don't look the type."

Leon smirks. "Maybe."

It's quiet for a moment, then the Spaniard says, "Okay, let me guess. She's the president's daughter?"

"That's too good for a guess," I snap, "wanna start explaining?"

"Psychic powers...Nah, just kidding with you. I overheard one of the villagers talking something about the president's daughter in the church."

"And who might you be?" Leon asks.

"Me llamo Luis Sera. I used to be a cop in Madrid. Now I'm just a good-for-nothing guy, who happens to be quite the ladies' man." He replies.

I have a feeling that the "ladies' man" thing is directed towards me, so I scoff and snap, "Don't you dare try and hit on me, Sera. I bite."

He chuckles. "Feisty, aren't you? I like 'em like that."

Leon lets out a low growl. "Luis," he says, trying to change the subject, "why'd you quit being a cop?"

Luis scoffs. "Policia...you put your life on the line and nobody really appreciates you for it."

"Used to be a cop myself," says Leon, "only for a day though. Somehow I managed to get myself involved with the incident in Raccoon City on my first day in the force."

"That is the incident with the viral outbreak, right?" Luis asks, turning his head as much as he can so he could see Leon. Leon nods, and Luis continues, "I think I might have seen a sample in the lab at my department."

Suddenly a bloody man with poor-looking clothing walks in with a huge axe. Luis and Leon struggle to get free so they wouldn't get killed, and they lean forward, exposing their bonds. The axe cuts cleanly through it, setting the boys free. Leon snaps the man's neck and I watch and Luis runs away in a panic. I wait for Leon to help me, and he does, using my hairpin to pick the locks. I jump down and I give Leon a kiss just when he calls Hunnigan.

"It's Leon. Sorry we couldn't get in touch sooner but we were a bit tied up." He says.

"You're okay, right?" Hunnigan asks.

"Fine," Leon nods. "There was a male civilian help captive. According to him, Ashley's in a church somewhere."

"What happened to him?"

"He managed to escape." I say, reloading my gun.

Hunnigan adjusts her glasses. "Do you have a fix on the location of the church?"

Leon shakes his head. "No, but apparently, there's a secret path in the village that leads there. We're heading back to the village."

Leon ends the calls and sticks the radio back on his belt. We make our way past the villagers and collect ammo on the way.

Soon enough, we arrive at a decent house. We unlock the door with a special code Leon seemed to know and I point my gun around the room to make sure no one is there.

"Leon, do you hear that?" I ask, my sensitive ears picking up voices from downstairs. They're speaking Spanish, but I know a few words they are saying. It doesn't sound like they're on our side, that's for sure.

He nods. "People. Come on, Leonor." He grabs my hand and pulls me to another door. He opens it slowly, and I squeeze past him, unaware of my surroundings.

I have a sudden feeling that someone is behind me, and I whirl around to see the same bearded man that knocked Leon out when we first met Luis. He grabs me by the neck and lifts me into the air.

"Hmm..." The man says with curiosity. He throws me onto the floor and Leon kneels beside me, growling at the huge man. The man says to me, "You carry the same blood as us, it seems. Nevertheless, you're outsiders. Just remember, if you become a nuisance to our eyes, you'll face severe consequences."

The man leaves, leaving me coughing with Leon next to me. He helps me up and mutters, "What? Same blood?"

Suddenly Hunnigan calls, and she looks eager to tell us something. "Leon, Leonor! I have some new info that might help you." She says.

"Fill us in," Leon says.

"Apparently, there's a religious cult group involved. They're called the Los Illuminados." Hunnigan replies, now looking relieved that she told us.

"Los Illuminados? That's a mouthful. Anyway, we had an unexpected run-in with the big cheese of this village."

"But you're okay, right?" She asks. Damn, that's really starting to get annoying.

Leon nods. "Yeah...But he could've killed Leonor, but he let her live, and he said something about us carrying the same blood as them. Whatever that means."

" 'Carrying the same blood...' Hmmm.." Hunnigan says to herself.

"Anyway," says Leon, "there are more important things than solving riddles right now."

"You're right. Hurry and find that church!" Hunnigan orders as Leon ends the call.
