**some exciting stuff is going to happen in this chapter:D i will defy fate :) and you get to find out a little more about Demetri...i might upload once or twice more this week until the weekend i have finals at school on Thursday and Friday including Tuesday and Wednesday of next week so enjoy:) **
"Are we there yet?" i asked Demetri impatiently he said he had a surprise for me. Well guess what...IT WAS TAKING FOREVER!!!
"Yes Natasha just about 30 more seconds." As he said this we entered a little clearing with a table and 2 chairs in the center. I gasped at how beautiful it was. "I just wanted us to be able to get to know each other better and thought this was the perfect place." Demetri stated switching from foot to foot uncomfortably.
"It's beautiful Demetri thank you." i finished with a smile on my face.
"Anytime." Demetri pulled my chair out like a gentlemen as i seated myself. There was a plate of fruit and ice cream in front of me. While he had a cup in front of him. "I figured you would like something sweet." he told me while sipping from his cup which i knew contained blood. Weirdly enough it didn't freak me out. I guess i've seen enough of it in my lifetime. I took my spoon and started eating my ice cream.
"So Demetri if you don't mind me asking what's your story? You know mine." I looked up from my ice cream waiting for his answer.
"Well i was born during 1944 and was 16 when i was turned." His eyes took on a thoughtful look like he was a million miles away. "I was walking home one night when i saw a women passes out on the floor, or so i thought. As i got closer to her she looked dead out of nowhere she jumped up and grabbed me by the neck. I tried my hardest to fight her off but it was impossible. She bit me but some man came and saved me he killed the women and left. He just left me there burning. I woke up aware of EVERYTHING all the humans smelled amazing but i was able to resist easily. I resisted as long as possible but had to hunt. I hunted humans but felt horrible about it. I tried to find other ways of survival but was unsuccessful. 45 years later i met the Cullens and took up their lifestyle. I have been part of their family ever since." He finished coming back into the present.
"What a great reward for trying to help a women out." I Said trying to make a joke of it. I wonder why he wasn't mentioned in any of the Twilight books? Wait, i did the math in my head.(1944+16=1960 1960+45=2005:D) So Demetri came to the Cullens during 2005(year Twilight came out i think:D). I wonder what year it is here? I never came to mind what year it was. I was just happy to get out of that hellhole. "Demetri what year is it?" i asked he looked at me oddly.
"2006."he stated.
"When is Bella's 18th birthday?" i asked worried.
"In about 10 minutes they let us have our privacy instead of going to the party." he smiled towards me. OMG!!!!
"DEMETRI WE NEED TO GO TO THE HOUSE NOW!!!" i screamed. He looked startled but got up at and inhuman speed. I jumped on his back and yelled for him to run, and boy did he RUN. When we got to the house i ran into the living room leaving behind a still confused Demetri. I saw Bella with that awful present that ruined EVERYTHING!!! "BELLA DON'T OPEN THAT!!" i screamed Bella was so startled that she dropped the present and i dived to get it. After i got a hold of it i threw it with unnecessary force. I just REALLY hate that present i read what it leads to. "Sorry for that outburst guys. Just trust me you wouldn't have liked the outcome of Bella opened that present." i told everyone while breathing hard.
"What do you mean?" Carlisle looked worried. Probably evaluating my sanity.
"If what was suppost to happen was published on my earth or whatever, Bella would be bloody right now and Jasper would feel like total shit." Everyone's eyes got wide. I would have laughed if i didn't just have to save someone's life. I looked around the room and saw everyone in shock except for Jasper he looked shocked but also upset.
"what would have happened exactly?" Edward asked with a hint of an edge to his voice.
"Might as well be blunt about it. Jasper would have almost attacked Bella and all hell would have broken loose. So yeah Edward if you want the full story just look inside my head." I spoke the last part to Edward directly. He looked intently at me and i knew he got the full story when his jaw clenched and fists closed together tightly. Everyone elses faces were in pure shock. Bella out of no where jumped on me and hugged me tightly.
"Thank you so much Tasha for saving my life." she smiled brightly at me.
"Your welcome. Oh and Edward i'm pretty sure everyone wants to know the whole story so go ahead and tell them. My work here is done so goodnight." i say while walking in the direction of my room. Demetri followed me to my room. I walked in and he was behind me.
"We never got to finish our talk." He pouted. He looked sooo adorable i couldn't turn him down.
"How about tomorrow after school?" i asked. I was still nervous but i couldn't let my fear control me. I wished with every fiber of my being that i could just trust him already. GOSH THIS SUCKS!!!! He doesn't deserve someone broken.
"Yeah that would be great!" he said while jumping off my bed with the biggest smile on his face. I watched him walk out of my room. Lets see what tomorrow brings was my last thought before darkness engulfed me.
