It's been 2 weeks since the walk with Demetri. We have been taking baby steps and i think it's working. I don't have the nightmares as much. When i do have them Demetri always seems to make it better. Tomorrow is my birthday and i'm going to be 16 YAY!!! I finally can get a car. I already have my license. I've been saving money since i was 10 so i could run away and since i don't have to now i'm using it to by a car! I have 6,000 saved up i know it's not much but it's good enough for a used car. I'm just sooo excited!
"So what are you doing for your birthday tomorrow?" Demetri asked casually.
"I'm not sure probably just watch some movies or something." I looked around the table to see everyone smiling at me. OH SHIT the pixie has a grin on her face."Oh no please don't do it Alice just don't." I said while putting my head in my hands.
"Come on Tasha let me have my fun. Please." Alice pleaded.
"Fine, whatever but i'm not going to have fun though." I said annoyed.
"Trust me Natasha you will." She looked over at Demetri and winked. 'WTF?!' i thought. I guess Edward heard because he started laughing.
"Whatever well i'm going to class. Bye." I started walking away when Demetri took my hand gently.
"I wanted to walk you to class is that ok?" He questioned looking worried.
"Yeah it's fine." I smiled as we walked hand in hand to my class.
(NEXT DAY)

"Tasha hunny wake up." I heard. I opened my eyes slowly to see Anya and Demetri.
"HAPPY 16TH BIRTHDAY!" They said happily with smiles consuming their faces. I slowly got out of bed and hugged them both.
"Thank you." Then it hit me like ice water. I CAN FINALLY GET MY CAR! I ran as fast as possible, while still half asleep to my closet. I started throwing clothes around trying to find something to wear.
"What are you doing?" Asked Demetri from behind me.
"Going to get my car!" i yelled excited. Demetri looked startled.
"What?!" he asked while having a confused look dominate his face.
"I have saved up money for a while now. Since i was 10 to be exact and i'm buying myself a car." I explained to him.
"Oh well that sucks your not going to like my present then." He said while giving me a sly smile.
"Demetri what are you talking about? Don't tell me you got me a present." He got a sheepish look on his face before answering
"Guilty." He wouldn't make eyes contact with me.
"Demetri Carson Cullen you didn't!" I screamed while getting ready to hit him. I told them i wanted nothing. I should have known the stupid vampires would out do it i'm only 16. I just wanted a simple normal birthday. I've never had one. My birthdays back home were nothing special just another day in my personal hell. Demetri grabbed my hand gently and pulled me into a hug.
"Please except my present. It would mean a lot to me." He whispered in my ear.
"Fine!" I said while pulling back. "No use in fighting you in this matter." He grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the house. There in the driveway with a huge and i mean HUGE bow was a black mustang.
"Do you like it?" Demetri asked unsure of himself. I was speechless i could just nod.
"Demetri it's beautiful but i can't accept this it's to much. I still couldn't take my eyes off this beautiful masterpiece in front of me.
"Natasha you said you would except it." Demetri stated with a smirk in his voice. He knew he had me.
"Are you sure?" I asked while excitement bubbled up in me.
"Positive." He said while i attacked him in a hug. I pulled back to see surprise in Demetri's expression. I didn't know what was controlling me but i leaned up and lightly pressed my lips to his. If i thought he was surprised before. I was so wrong. I stepped back feeling horrible.
"I'm so sorry Demetri that was out of line." I turned away from him and started towards the house. I felt myself being pulled backwards. I looked confused as Demetri looked me straight in the eyes. He slowly came towards my face with his own. Giving me time to pull away something accured to me in that second. I didn't want him to stop. His lips made contact with mine and i felt a shock go through them. He pulled back and looked at me with smoldering golden eyes.
"Never apologize for kissing me." He smiled while hugging me close.
