Kat's Pov
I walked down the aisle, past HIM and sat at my seat. It was, unfortunately, the seat next to his across the aisle and my wolf growled in excitement. When I'd walked past him I'd briefly noticed that he was gorgeous! He has jet black hair and the most piercing blue eyes I've ever seen! I mentally kicked myself for noticing these details but then laughed at myself. it was natural for me to notice details. "Keep telling yourself that, hon." my wolf said and I scowled in annoyance. Okay. He was hot. So what?
I opened up my laptop and checked the map and details of when Richard would give his 'great' (note the sarcasm) speech. It was due to take place in the town square at 5pm tomorrow night near lots of broken down buildings. The bastard. He couldn't even pick a nice place. But I wasn't complaining for long! I remembered the abandoned buildings and grinned at his foolishness. The buildings were the perfect place for me to hide and take him out with my sniper. Brilliant! I sniggered and sighed contentedly. It was an 8 hour flight and a girl needs her beauty sleep. Even an assassin.
Alex's Pov
1 hour later
I heard snoring and looked around. It was the girl. The hottie. And now that she was asleep, she looked so innocent and adorable. I was positive that she was my mate now as she had let her guard down and I could smell the vanilla-cinnamon scent. It was coming from her.
"Ryder!" I hissed at my Beta.
"Whaaat??", he complained, annoyed that I'd woken him up from his sleep.
"I want you to find out absolutely everything you can about the girl sitting opposite us, opposite this aisle near the window. You got that?"
"Wait, you want me to find out stuff about the hot chick? Why you interested in her? She's not your type!"
I just glared at him and told him to do as he was told. After all, I was the Alpha. He looked at me for an explanation and I sighed. "Mate." I simply said. He gave me a look of surprise and then understanding. "I'm on it."
"Oh, and while you're at it, check on the documents on your laptop about that Richard guy. Y'know that rich businessman? He owns Grey enterprises. I have unfinished business with the mad man."
