Oliver's Pov
"Ryder, do you know where Kat is? I haven't seen her since this morning." He shrugged in response and Chase came into the room, looking bored.
"Hey Chase. Any idea where Kat is? I'm worried about her."
"The last time I saw her was just before lunch. She was rushing out of Alex's office after the meeting. I think I saw her go out into the garden." Relieved, I smiled at Chase and said thanks.
Ten minutes later I had been through the whole garden; there was no sign of her. Although, there had been another scent (which was suspicious) but I ignored it, my focus still on finding my best friend.
Desperately, I reached out to her through mind link but I hit a block. Ugh. She only blocked me out when she was pissed off at me and we'd been getting along fine so it wasn't that. She was probably asleep. That's the only valid reason I can think of.
Heading to her bedroom, I knocked and called out her name. No response. Hmm.. I tried the door knob and it was unlocked. The girl should really learn how to lock her door. Looking into the room, I saw that it was empty. Shit. I had a very bad feeling about this.
I quickly ran to Alex's office. Cringing, I knocked on his door and heard his voice say "Come in." He was not going to take the news well.
