Alex's Pov
I ran towards the airport's terminal gates as a voice announced through speakers "All passengers to gates 3&4, Terminal 3 for the Boeing 737 flight to Australia." I managed to get past the guard at the gates and into the terminal. Looking around, I searched for her. She wasn't here. My wolf whined and I felt dejected. I'd been too late & I had lost her.
I slowly turned back when a familiar voice said "Alex? What are you doing here?" I ran to Kat and smiled.
I looked into green eyes that were full of disbelief and said, "I thought that I'd missed you!" Taking her hand, I declared "Katarina Elise Steele, will you do me the honour of being my mate?"
Yup. I'd asked her this in an airport. 'Good going Pierce' I mentally chasticised my self. She looked at me in shock.
"I.....I... I can't..."
