Chloe's POV
"I'm going to miss you sweetheart". Said my mother. We both had tears in our eyes. I was leaving for a teaching job at Barden University. This was my dream, I love to help people, to make them happy, to make a difference and what better way to do that then to become a teacher.
"I know mom, I'm going to miss you too but I'm not a kid anymore, I'm 22 and I need to learn to stand on my own two feet." I said. With tears streaming down my face. I love my family more then anything but this was an amazing opportunity for me.
"It's just hard to except that my baby girl is all grown up". She said sadly. "I love you Chloe, your father would have been so proud of you".
I form a small smile on my face. "I love you too, I'll ring you as soon as I land".
Chloe's apartment
As soon as I land I ring my mom to tell her I'm okay and then I start to unpack everything. By the time I finish it's already 12:30pm, so I decide to go to bed as it's my first day at Barden.
'Tomorrow's going to be an busy day' I think to myself before drifting off to sleep.
