"Its Complicated"

Old Feelings...

( Izzy's P.O.V. )

As I sit on the neighborhood park bench I wait for Jacob. I told him my mom had to come here for a client, and I was tagging alone.

I look at the kids, then sigh in frustration. He was ten minutes late. As I scroll through Instagram, I felt my eyes slowly get heavier.

"A-august stop, don't m-make me."

August was tickling me as usual, and I was trying to escape. He ignored my plea, and continued to tickle me. I mange to escape, and rush off.

I turn around and see him rushing towards me. I briskly walk towards the pool, and wait for him to follow. He catches up, and true to grab my arm. I slide to the side, and he belly flops in the pool.

"Hahahaha!!! August you should've seen your face."

"At least my rose, is smiling, that's all I need to know."

I grin, and dive in the pool. August snakes his arms around my waist, and links his lips to mine. I smile and start to laugh. He gave me a weird look and laughed with me. I playfully punched his arm as we continue to laugh, over nothing.

Nothing literally nothing..

He pulls me in for a hug, and I wrap my hands around his waist. He pecks the crown of my head and i feel warmth radiating from my body.

"Izzy, I love you so much. I want you to know that, I'll love you forever."

"Uh Izzy. Izzy, you awake?"

"Huh??"

I see Jacob's hand on my shoulder, and I slowly start to wake up from my drowsiness. I smile weakly before I get up and grab my bag.

"Sorry Jacob, I um, had a nap"

I gave him another weak smile as I walk to his car. I sit down and pull out my phone. Three notifications from my sister and some snaps from my friends. I cut my phone off and look at Jacob getting in the car.

"It's okay Izzy. Now how about we go start our date?"

"Yeah...our date."

I stop having my romantic moment with the tea, and stare at him, with a deadly threat. Oh no he didn't!!!
