"Its Complicated"

Two Months Later 😅

( Izzy's P.O.V. )

Yea its been a month, and December it rolling around. I've been getting therapy, and its been helping me. I have stood by my vow, and avoided Jacob.

Frankly, he and Autumn fell apart. Rumors were that he left her, and she went back to Virginia, or wherever.

I have been getting close to Ashton, and even helped him to get a girlfriend. Yup, I started Lashton. Its pretty funny, I set them up on a blind double date. Matt and Kasey helped set it up.

Although I had a major crush on Ashton, we better off as buds.

" Yo lazy, Lilac is here with Ashton. "

I grab my hoodie, and put it on. I went down stairs, and saw Lilac. I giggled, and gave her a hug. I went to Ashton, and kissed his cheek.

" Hey my girlfriend is here. Stop. "

" Chill Ashton, its okay. She did set us up. "

" Yea be grateful Ashton. Your lucky to have Lilac. "

We all giggled, ad we went to our living room. Ever since our incident. All my friends help me by playing Friend Olympics, twice a month.

My counselor started it. For me to learn to accept my friends, and slowly tear down my walls. She found out that I have built walls from past tramatic experiences. Which is true.

" Okay Kasey is in the kitchen with Sidney. Danny is picking up Violet, and Matt is running late. "

I grab some pillows, and blankets from the closet and set up the living room. I feel my phone vibrate, and see its my mom.

Mommy💞👸: just so you know, I don't want any funny business. This sleepover should be PG-13

Me: Sí mommy, I'll be careful trust me. Thanks for allowing me to have a friends-only sleepover. I promise no funny business.

I stuff my iPhone in my hoodie pocket, and walk towards the group. I watch as Kasey was cringing as Sidney chopped up carrots. Matt and Ashton were both chatting about heaven know what.

I look around, and try to find Lilac. I walk over to Ashton, and he shrugs. I walk towards the back of the house, and out towards the swimming pool. I didn't see her, so I went to the front of the house.

Still no sign of her.

I panicked, and realize there was the neighborhood park. I rush over to the middle of the neighborhood, and see Lilac on a swing. She seemed sad, but I didn't get why.

" Hey, are you okay? Were about to start Friend Olympics.

" No, I got a text from my mom. "

" Oh do you have to go home. I could dr- "

" No, my dad got a promotion. "

" Well then why are you sad? That's pretty good...right? "

" Yea it is, but we may have to leave the city, possibly the country. Don't get me wrong, I am so happy, its just- "

" You don't want to leave Ashton. "

" And you guys. I mean this is the first time I had friends, let alone a boyfriend. "

I bend down, and look at her. She was sad, and honestly I didn't know what to do. I calmed down, and said what my abulea always said.

" You may not be able to change the future, but you can change the present. Don't worry about what !at happen tomorrow. Go and have fun, go hang with Ashton okay. "

She got up, and wiped her tears away. She gave me a hug, and mumbled 'thanks'. I nodded, and pushed her towards my house. She walk to the house., and I grabbed my blanket.

" Izzy? "

I turn around  and see the last person I would have expected.

Now I originally planned to leave this at a cliffhanger, even though it would have been unnecessary. So enjoy this extra P.O.V. !!! 😏

( Jacob's P.O.V. )

I freeze as I see Izzy. For the past two months I haven't seen her. I've been a ghost. Ever since the incident, I was advised to be on the DL.

I didn't mind either. A break from the fans, music and social media it was refreshing. I just wished I could've spent that time with Izzy.

I liked her, but a part of me hopes she would reject me. I was hurt when she avoided me. She went as far as to switch classes in every period I was in. My mom never told me what happened in that office.

I walk closer to her, as she looks at me. I was a bit different. I had gotten a bit skinner, and that's cause of my medication. I was in front of her, and I rushed her cheek with my hands.

She was beautiful. Even though she had on bed attire, she was still stunning in my eyes. I dive in for a kiss, and smile.

She wrapped her hands on my neck, as I did too. She eagerly kissed back, and for a minute, I thought every thing was alright.

She suddenly stopped, and pushed me off of her. She shook her head, and walked off. I stood there in confusion, until I turned around.

I saw my mom, peeking through our curtain, and everything made since.

Somehow, on that day, my mom did something. Izzy isn't avoiding me cause she feels bad, she had to or something will happen to her. And my mom is the puppeteer behind this all.

Yup, I posted early... Where's the reward?? Kidding I was on a roadtrip recently, and it gave new enough time to write a few chapters in advance.
