"Disregard that last statement!" The Blue Zircon stammered, backing away from the hard gaze of Yellow Diamond, her hands held defensively in front of her. "I may have gotten carried away!"
It all happened withing a matter of seconds. She stood, she crushed the Zircon's form under her finger and let her gem clatter to the ground.
The opposing Zircon snarkily replied from her side of the court. "Well, case closed!" Only to result in the Diamond turning and hitting her full force with a blast of electrical yellow strikes, making her poof as well.
Blue Diamond had had enough, standing and rushing over to Yellow. "Can't you restrain yourself?!"
The trial...did not go exactly according to plan.

The gems of the two attorneys were placed in a room just off the courtroom to reform after Blue had furiously protested Yellow's want to shatter the both of them. She insisted upon leaving them intact, claiming they were both doing their jobs and did nothing wrong. Yellow reluctantly agreed, but only for the time being. Blue Zircon knew too much. She had to go.
Yellow Zircon was the first to reform between them, brushing herself off and adjusting herself accordingly.
"I would say that went very well, what do you think, Bl-" She glanced over, only to see her companion had not reformed. "No, go on and take your time. Or hide in there. I would to if I accused the Diamonds!"
She let out a nasally laugh, standing up against the wall of the room. To pass the time, she flicked through the notes from today's trial on her holographic screen.
"Come on, Blue. Really. You can't hide in there forever." She remarked and rolled her eyes.
As if on cue, the blue gem started to glow and a form emerged from it, landing heavily on her feet and already in a panic.
"I repeal my statement!" She exclaimed, making Yellow quietly chuckle.
"The trial is over."
"Wh-what?! What does that mean!? Who won the case!?"
Yellow only shrugged and gave her a small smirk.
"You're lucky to still be intact."
"Yes I know THAT! You don't have to point it out!"
"I do have to give you some credit. You really are that dedicated to your work that you' be willing to sacrifice yourself for the truth."
"I..." Blue blinked a few times. Was Yellow..complimenting her? "I suppose...thank you." She quietly murmured and cleared her throat.
"What was that? I didn't hear you."
"Yellow...!"
"Hmmm~?"
"...Thank you."
"There we go. You're welcome."
