((OHOHHOHOH HI GUYS MY LAPTOP NEARLY CAUGHT ON FIRE SO I COULDNT UPDATE BUT HERE I AM! ALSO. Bit of a poll here. I'm ending this story here, BUT any interest in a sequel that's just their adventures on Earth?)

It ended all too quickly, as Yellow pulled away from Blue and averted her eyes, a dark green blush forming over her face.

"What do we do once we arrive on Earth? We can't return now, even if we find the evidence we need to prove your innocence."

"You mean...Rose's?"

"No."

This left Blue to be the one to look away now. They were trapped, and they could never go back to the way things were. But was it that bad?

"Yellow...?"

"Hm?" The other zircon had hurried and busied herself with the control panel on the ship, struggling to act as though she wasn't really paying any attention to Blue. Though  this became considerably more difficult when Blue stepped closer and wrapped her arms around the back of the chair, crossing them in front of Yellow in a tight embrace.

"We...can be together on Earth, correct?"

"I don't..."

"Just please answer me."

"I suppose." Yellow mumbled, pressing her lips together. This question had somehow never crossed her mind. She knew nothing about the Earth, neither of them did. It could be worse than Homeworld for all they knew.

"Then we should stay there, find a place to hide. I won't lie and say I'm brave and...I could do anything like you can. I'm scared but I just-" Blue trailed off as Yellow gently took her hand and held it tightly.

"Blue, come here."

She moved closer to Yellow.

"No, here."

"H-"

"Get over here."

Before she knew it, she was...sitting in Yellow's lap. This was really undignified, but they didn't have to comply to Homeworld's standards anymore...right?

Yellow gently rested her chin on Blue's shoulder, still looking at the console.

"Did you...need something?"

"Yes, I just wanted you close by in case anything happens."

"But don't you think-"

"Blue, stop talking and just kiss me."
