Jaylan's point of view
"Así así." I smiled as Luke asked how my day was in Spanish. It wasn't pronunciated very well, but he still tried and that made me happy. "I tripped and scratched my arm, but I also had a good day."
"I'm learning Spanish for you, just so I'll know if you curse me out. Like, right now, you can call me a fucking donkey and I wouldn't know." He joked and I laughed.
"No, I wouldn't do that to you or Brian." I promised and he nodded as I walked into the kitchen. "Can I have an apple?"
"You don't need to ask, go ahead. Mí casa es tú casa. My house is your house, you really don't need to ask." He nodded and I grabbed one from the fridge, immediately washing it off before taking a bite. "Something is different about you."
"¿Qué?" I asked and looked down at myself. "Is it my face? I took off my makeup before I came down here." I reminded and he shook his head.
"No, it's not that." He said and I leaned against the counter. "Huh, I can't tell. But something is off..."
I wiped my hands on my band shirt and he snapped his fingers as he pointed. "Your boobs are gone." He pointed out and I choked on my apple. "Holy shit, no, don't die-"
I heard him stand up and I also heard the tap run before he handed me a glass of water. I took a drink and then hit my chest before looking at him as I got the food down. "You good? You're not dying?" He asked and I nodded.
"Yeah. Yeah I'm fine. I'm not dying. Damn, it's just... you're really blunt about things." I told him and he shrugged. "I'm wearing a binder..."
"It's a good thing I have genderfluid friends, if not, I'd be asking you what the hell that was." He chuckled and I felt a weight lifted off my shoulders.
"So you-you don't mind that I am genderfluid too? You done think it's weird or abnormal?" I asked and he shook his head.
"Of course not. Be a boy, be a girl, be both, or be neither, just don't be a dick." He told me and I widened my eyes.
"Can you like... write that down so I can tattoo it across my forehead? Like in all caps, maybe underline it too. Please?" I asked and he laughed loudly.
"Gladly." He nodded and opened a drawer full of miscellaneous objects. He pulled a sticky note out and then a sharpie, writing it down before handing it to me.
I put it on my forehead and he laughed. "This quote is my religion, my sexuality, my first language, my everything. This quote is me."
"I copyrighted it already."
"Fuck, I wanted it." I told him and we both laughed. "When will Brian be home?"
"Maybe round' eight." He told me and I nodded. "I invited my band over, if that's alright with you."
"It's you're house, Luke. It's fine." I assured and he nodded as I looked down at my clothes. "Should I change?"
"If you want. It's just my band. If they don't like your clothes, I'll just ban them from coming over." He shrugged and I laughed as I heard paws against the tiled floor. "Tunia!"
"I'll change. I'm not supposed to wear a binder too long anyways." I reminded and he nodded as I took my apple upstairs. I took another bite and then set it down on my desk.

"I got it!" I yelled as I herd the doorbell rang. I tossed the core cored my apple into the trash and Petunia barked as she ran around. I sneezed a few times and then rubbed my nose sith my sweater before walking towards the door.
