Jaylan's point of view
"Buenas días." I yawned as I stretched, walking into the kitchen. Brian smiled and returned it as I sat down at the counter.
"Sleep well?"
"Yeah, I still wanna sleep too." I laughed and he agreed as he cooked. "If it isn't too much trouble, do you think I can hang out with my friends today?"
"Yeah, go ahead." He nodded and I stood up to grab a glass from the cabinet. "No one's going to be home."
"Where are you going?"
"Well, I don't actually live here." He laughed and I looked at him with furrowed eyebrows as I opened the fridge. "I just have been staying here. I have an apartment myself, but Luke's been making me stay here."
"Oh..." I trailed off as I grabbed Luke's chocolate milk. "So you're bringing your stuff here?"
"Possibly." He nodded and I poured myself a glass before putting the milk away. "I'm paying rent for a place I'm not even staying in, so I should just move in with Luke."
"You should. I genuinely thought you lived here too." I confessed and then sat back down. "Can I ask a question?"
"Yeah sure, go ahead."
"How did you and Luke even like... start dating? Isn't there an age gap? Aren't you worried what fans and the media would think?" I asked and he laughed.
"When you're into someone, the last thing on your mind is what other people are gonna think. Our friends accept us, and we're happy together, so what others think doesn't matter too much." He answered and then looked at me. "As for the age gap... isn't not a big deal. It's not like he's underaged anymore."
I nodded and then heard someone walking downstairs. "I smell food."
"I smell you, go take a shower." Brian teased and Luke gasped as he took a seat beside me.
"I took a shower last night, don't be a dick." Luke huffed and then looked at me. "Your friend went home?"
"Yeah, she left late last night since that's when her friend was getting off work." I explained and he nodded as I took a drink of my milk. "I'm gonna hang out with my friends today, is that okay?"
"Of course." He smiled and then patted down his pockets since he was dressed. "Um... I think you're gonna need a key. Where is-"
"The spare key is in the drawer right there, babe." Brian reminded, pointing to Luke's drawer of miscellaneous things.
"You are a life saver." Luke breathed out before getting up. He opened the drawer and then reached inside, searching through it. "Is this - yeah, this is it."
He handed me a key and I took it, thanking him quietly as I noticed it had the room number on it. I set it down and then Brian set a plate in front of me. "Gracias."
"De nada." He smiled and I picked the fork up, looking at the eggs and bacon. "Babe, want some coffee?"
"Yeah, I'll take coffee. Thanks." Luke said and I laughed as Luke wrapped his arms around him.
I pulled my phone out, opening my Twitter and scrolling through it as I tried to ignore the fact they were cute and I was jealous since I'm single. It should be like a rule couples can't be overly cute when single people are around.
I retweeted a few of Arzaylea's tweets about accepting people for who they are, and then retweeted one Michael tweeted about needing more black clothes. After calling him a vampire, I went to compose a new tweet, hearing Luke sit down beside me.
