"Where exactly are we going?" Justin laughed before taking your hand to hold.

"Wherever life decides to take us." You simply smiled. Justin laughed before you two sat in a comfortable silence.

"But Jasmine... have you spoken to your mom at all?" Justin asked softly. Your grip tightened on the steering wheel briefly before you shook your head.

"Are you going to?"

"She's not even home, Justin. She's been on a business trip ever since I came back." You sighed. Surprisingly, you reminded your mother a lot of your dad. You have the same anger that your dad had when he was a lot younger. He's much more calm now and laid back. Yet she still saw a lot of him in you.

"You need a buddy while Zach is away at practices and stuff." Justin stated.

"And a buddy we shall get!" You declared, pulling into the local pet store in your small town. Truth be told, you always wanted a dog but you were never able to get one.

You two walked in, Justin casually taking a hold of your hand.

You both agreed that you weren't going to be exclusively labeled as girlfriend and boyfriend since you weren't really ready to be in a relationship but you also weren't going to tell him you didn't wanna do the whole couple-like things with him.

"Justin look!" You gasped, going over to a corgi and picking him up.

"He's so cuteeee!" You gushed over the dog before putting his face next to yours and pouting. "How can you say no to a fluffy face like this?"

"How can I say no to a cute face like yours?"
